Meet Piper 🐾💖 Under 2 years old and a GSD/Lab mix, Piper’s story is one of resilience and growth. Before coming to Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue, she spent 23 hours a day crated, with no leash training and very little chance to just be a dog. Fast forward to now: Piper is thriving. She’s learning how to walk on a leash and is doing so well, soaking up structure, love, and freedom. 🌟 Piper would do best as an only dog, as she has some food/treat guarding that we’re actively working through—and she’s making progress. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, and truly ready for the fresh start she deserves. This reel shows just how far she’s come… now all she needs is her happy ending. 🏡 Could that be with you? Dogs are heartworm negative and cats are combo tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. We have had Gigi since she was a couple months old, and purchased her from a well known, local breeder. She’s a 5 and a half year old full breed. She’s the most loving, protective, active girl who will love you with her whole heart! We are heartbroken to say goodbye, but she deserves a home that has much more time for her. She’s well house trained, and is left to roam around our kitchen and living area when we aren’t home. She is very dominant with other dogs, but got along well with our younger male dog we previously had. She’s amazing with our three children, and follows us around like it’s her job to constantly watch! She barks often, but settles down once company is welcomed in. She is constantly anxious, and needs a home full of love and attention geared toward her. We never had plans to rehome, but we are committed to extra-curricular activities with our kids, so she rarely gets any of our undivided attention now. Gigi is the perfect, loyal German Shepherd dog you’ll ever meet.
