Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
My son found Willow in a bad living situation and wanted to save her. He has a very small place so he brought her to us to try to find an appropriate forever home. Willow is high energy, and loves to run play. A farm w/ other animals and barn would be ideal. A large fenced yard would work well, if she got to come inside at night. She likes attention affection. She would be a FANTASTIC hiking dog with some training. Teach her to fetch things, and she would be happy all day. Willow is good w children, but she might jump on smaller children wanting to play. She will bark at strangers, but once she knows them she is fine. Although she likes to run and play, she will settle down at night. She needs people and/or other animals (dogs, horses, cows, etc). She will chase cats, but will stop when told. She has never shown aggressive tendencies in the year we have had her. She will try to play with anything that moves. Willow is very smart and agile, and would probably train very well.

Take a walk with Brody! During walks, Brody is very interested in his environment, always sniffin` around. He has no favourite place for pets, wanting to be pet all over. He will engage quickly with people, making new friends where ever he goes. He will become very excited about toys if you offer them. Brody also takes treats nicely from staff. Brody does well on leash, as long as he can get those sniffs in! In playgroups, he isn`t a fan with pushy friends. He would prefer a mellower dog bud. A meet and greet is a great idea to be sure the match is just perfect! Ask to meet him today!

Story
Meet DIXIE! 🐾 This adorable girl is just the perfect package!! Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. Dixie is approximately 5 months and practically out of all those time consuming puppy stages. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Dixie has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way. She is fostering in a home in Memphis, TN and her foster mom would love to tell you all about her. Dixie is going to be great family companion and she is ready to be your new best friend! If you’re ready to give DIXIE a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she soooo deserves. 🐶💕 Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Say hello to DINO! This bundle of joy came into the rescue and stole everyone’s heart immediately. His kind endearing eyes will make your heart melt. Dino was a puppy that was found by a wonderful person at the person’s place of employment. He fed Dino daily and allowed him to sleep in his car on his lunch breaks. Dino remained loyal and stayed around the place of work until they reached out for help from the rescue. To this day he loves cars and feels very safe from the outside cruel world inside of one. Dino has now been placed in a loving foster home and is learning to play wonderful with the foster’s big dogs and puppies that are fostering with him half his size. Dino is doing great in a crate and potty training. This guy catches on really quick. He is so appreciative of having a safe environment to thrive. He will lay on you or keep his head in your lap forever if you will allow. Personality: Dino is goofy, energetic, and playful! He does well with correction. Dino would be great in a home with another dog to keep showing the ropes of puppy life. He is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where he can grow to be a wonderful life long family companion. Story
Rip enjoys the company of his person or family. He tends to only bark when he feels the need to let you know something. Crate trained, house broken and very smart. Could be a good candidate for a service dog. Would be best in a home with another dog that is friendly that could help guide him in the daily routine of his new home and rules. He is very loyal, affectionate, and obedient. He responds best to fair, consistent training and clear instructions without force; Use positive reinforcement! Has a good recall, knows sits, walks on a leash. Does great on car rides. Good around kids and small dogs. Guessed adult size to be around 90 lbs, He has a beautiful black coat with a silver undercoat that just shines. He is a beautiful boy. High-quality food is highly recommended to keep him in excellent health. Rip is Neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and ready to begin the rest of this life.
