Meet Your New Best Friend: Chase Status: Available for AdoptionBreed: German Shepard MixGender: Neutered MaleWeight: 60lbsAge: 1.5 years oldPersonality: High Energy & and Sensitive SoulCompatibility: Great with Big Dogs 🌟About Chase Chase is a stunning 60lb German Shepard mix who is looking for a partner to help him navigate the big wide world. He is the perfect blend of athletic prowess and gentle sensitivity. While he has the classic GSD drive and energy he’s also a “soft” boy who is still building up his self-esteem. ⚡️Energy & Play If you’re looking for a hiking, running, or fetch partner, Chase is your guy! He has high-octane energy and thrives when he has a job to do. Whether it’s a long morning trek or a vigorous session of “find the toy” he’s happiest when moving. 🛡️Building Confidence Chase is what we call a “diamond in the rough.” Despite his size, he can be a bit low-confidence in new situations or unfamiliar noises. He needs a patient leader who uses positive reinforcement to show him that he’s a “good boy”. Seeing him conquer a new “scary” obstacle (like a noisy trash can or a new staircase) is one of the most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have. 🐕Social Life: Big Dogs Welcome! One of Chase’s best qualities is his love for his fellow large-breed friends. He feels most secure when he has a confident, big dog sibling to show him the ropes. He is social and playful with dogs his own size, making him a great fit for a multi-dog household with other large residents. 🏡The Ideal Forever Home: • Active Lifestyle: An owner who enjoys daily long walks, runs or mental stimulation games• A Confident Canine Sibling: A home with another large, well-adjusted dog would be a huge plus for his confidence.• Patience & Training: Someone who understands the “sensitive Shepard” temperament and is willing to work on confidence-building exercises. Story
Enoch is a 3–4 month old German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix puppy. I took him in after he came from an outdoor situation where he had been kept in a cage and had fleas and ticks. He has since been treated by a vet for fleas/ticks and worms. Enoch is extremely smart, energetic, affectionate, and very people-focused. He is definitely a “velcro dog” who wants to be near his person and get lots of attention. He learns insanely fast and picked up going potty outside very quickly, so he has not needed much potty training. I am looking for a home that has time for a smart, active puppy and understands that he will need training, exercise, patience, and attention as he grows. Rehoming fee is $100 to help make sure Enoch goes to a serious, responsible home. I am willing to lower the fee for the right person/family with proof of a scheduled vet appointment, since he still needs his puppy vaccines and rabies shot.
