Story
Meet Wryker! He is a male German Shepherd born 1/25/22 who weighs about 80 lbs. He’s a typical young GSD, full of energy, Velcro to his people, follows his nose and is curious. He’s potty trained, knows sit and is working on down, stay, and wait; he is treat and food motivated. He lives with other dogs his size, little dogs and dog savvy cats. He is currently learning boundaries with little dogs because he’s too big to play with them and doesn’t always know when to stop. He’s also learning about enrichment toys, recall, and fetch. He likes to snuggle with his people. Wyker will require a home with breed experience, who will continue training. Wryker has been raised with children ages 6 and up and would best in a home without toddlers. He would do best in a home with another canine companion or a home with a person who can keep him physically and mentally stimulated. Long periods alone are not ideal for this breed. We do require home ownership (no apartments please) and a minimum 5 foot fence. Applications can be found at www.mikeyschance.com

Story
Bunker is a male German Shepherd born approximately 4-1-2022. Bunker is housebroken and crate trained, although he doesn’t really love it. He knows some basic commands such as sit and come, he is a work in progress with a leash. Bunker will require continued training and enrollment in basic puppy obedience to make him a good canine citizen. A home with breed experience and another canine companion would be most beneficial. He’s a very sweet boy who adores belly rubs and time with humans and canine siblings. He loves to carry around his stuffies and treats them like his baby. We do require a home with a secure 6 foot fence, we prefer a home with no children under age 5. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com

Story
Meet Pepper! She is a female German Shepherd mix born 7/13/21. According to her foster mom, she is very observant and loves interacting with humans or other dogs. Pepper is very intelligent and treat motivated. She is crate trained and almost completely housebroken and is very good and signaling she needs to go out. She is a high energy and will require an active home/lifestyle with someone who has knowledge of the breed. She enjoys car rides and is up for lots of new adventures. Pepper will need a home with another dog of similar size and energy level, no feline friends or small animals-true to her breed, she has a decent prey drive. She is quite a jumper and will require a secure 6 foot fence. Pepper is also still very mouthy as shepherd pups can be, therefore we are seeking a home with only adults or a home with no children under age 8. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com

Story
Meet Swizzle! This amazing girl is a German Shepherd who was born approximately March 16, 2021. She came to us very pregnant but has weened her pups and is now ready for a home of her very own! Here is a little bit about her: Swizzle is working on leash training and making great progress. She is crate trained but would prefer free roam and is housebroken. Swizzle does well with other dogs of similar size but would do best in a home without small dogs or cats. Swizzle's ideal home would be one that's familiar with her breed, has a fully fenced yard and if there are kids in the home, over the age of 5. True to her breed, she's very smart and will make the most loyal companion. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com - if you are interested in fostering Swizzle please fill out a short foster application. We are also open to a foster to adopt home for Swizzle!

Story
Bella is a sweet, friendly, energetic, affectionate 2 year old girl. According to the genetic testing she is German Shepherd, Border collie, siberian husky, and pit bull. She joined our family at 8 weeks old from a shelter. She is the commedian in our family. Her facial expressions are the best. She loves a good belly rub, cuddles with the toddler and playing with the cat (trying to lick and pet the cat with her paws). She is exceptionally patient with kids but will sometimes knock them over. She loves to run, fetch, and chew on squeaky toys. She definitely needs space to run and wrestle with her sister. She prefers to be outside when the weather is moderate (not super cold or hot) although enjoys more indoor time than her sister. She can be difficult on a leash. She is deeply bonded to Mya (a 2 year old Golden/lab mix). We would love to keep them with our family but are relocating to a small apartment.
