Apollo is extremely loyal to his family members and just wants to always be within eye sight of you. He is very chill indoors until a stranger comes to the door then he gets very protective, Apollo is friendly when out in public but protective when at home. He loves to play fetch and will do it until he gets too tired. We are moving to where our family business is and it will not be a proper environment to have a dog with his distrust of strangers. He will make a terrific companion to someone who is home most of the day that maybe lives on some property where strangers don’t walk up unannounced. He’s a fantastic guard dog. He is fine with people after he gets introduced but it requires a proper introduction with him before he feels comfortable. If interested I can go more into his temperment. He truly is the sweetest dog and our family is more than sad to see him go.

Meet Finn! Finn is a gorgeous 55-pound German Shepherd mix. Finn can be shy and timid when meeting new people and dogs and doesn't rush up to greet strangers. He prefers to observe from a distance and take things at his own pace before deciding someone is a friend. Those who take the time to earn his trust discover an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Because of this, he is looking for a patient adopter who understands that building trust is a process. Once Finn feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate and loving personality shines through. One of Finn's favorite things in the world is a good car ride. Whether it's a trip to the hardware store, the pet store, or a stop for a pup cup, Finn is always happy to ride shotgun, leaning against his person as if helping navigate the way. He already knows basic commands like sit and has an excellent recall. Finn enjoys his daily walks, loves playing with his dog friends, and can often be found proudly carrying his favorite bone around. Because he has an energetic play style, he'd thrive in a home with another dog of similar size and energy level who can help show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. He would do best in a calm, stable home with someone who understands the German Shepherd breed. Previous German Shepherd experience is required, as his adopter will need to appreciate his sensitive nature and be committed to helping him to continue to grow. At 55 pounds, Finn is the perfect size for an adventure buddy. Once he bonds with his person, he's happy to accompany them anywhere-from cheering his family on at a lacrosse game, browsing the aisles at Home Depot, relaxing at a dog-friendly restaurant, or simply joining you wherever the day takes you. Shiloh is a very loving very sweet dog. She does have a couple special needs and allergies. She's allergic to chicken and cannot lay down in grass otherwise she'll break out and chew her paws and stomache up. She loves walking outside She just can't lay in grass. She's done great with dogs in the past. She loves kids, she will lick them and sniff them but shes never violent and loves them. She's very hyper and needs her energy burned. She chews at her paws when she's anxious, which is whenever I'm not home all day. I really struggled to get her to eat but I found a food that she loves and shes doing so well after starting it. I really hate to have to find her a new home she really is such a sweet dog, however I'm getting married and moving soon and can't take her with me. She's a Malamute so she's VERY stubborn. She barks at bunnies and deer every time. And she has to be walked on a leash because she runs off. Her food is not very cheap so we'll provide two bags of her food.

Meet Hazel, She is Perfection! This girl is Beautiful, Friendly, Snuggly, and Playful. She has it all. She loves deeply and is looking for a special person or family who will love her the same. She is ready for lots of adventures and fun, as well as snuggling on the couch. She loves to play with other dogs. She knows commands, loves her crate, she loves to run and play. Charlotte Rose is the kind of dog who makes life feel a little easier. She's the girl who happily trots over to greet you when you come home from work, is always ready to tag along for errands or adventures, and is just as content spending a quiet afternoon curled up nearby. She is a beautiful German Shepherd with a wonderfully easygoing personality, and we can easily picture her settling into a home with kids, another dog, or anyone looking for a loyal companion. During her visit with children, she was gentle, respectful, took treats softly, and eagerly leaned in for more pets and belly rubs. In fact, Charlotte was named by a five-year-old who chose her name because she said Charlotte was "so sweet and good," and we couldn't agree more. It's a description that fits her perfectly. Charlotte currently lives with several other large dogs and does wonderfully alongside them. She happily shares toys, food, and space without issue. While she isn't particularly interested in roughhousing or wrestling, she enjoys being part of the group and makes a wonderful companion for other easygoing dogs. One of the things we love most about Charlotte is just how peaceful she is. She rarely barks, doesn't get worked up over much, and has a calm, settled way about her that makes her an incredibly pleasant housemate. She loads into the car easily, rides well, and after just a few moments of meeting someone new, she's usually leaning in for affection like you've been friends for years. Charlotte has not yet been cat tested, but if you have a cat at home, we'd be happy to introduce her for observation to help determine if she may be a good fit.
