Story
My Adoption Fee Is Fully Sponsored by an anonymous donor! Hi there! My name is Jolene. I'm a nice southern girl who was pregnant when rescued by Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. Thankfully I was taken in just in time as I needed a C-section to deliver my babies - I never would have survived on my own! I was a very good Mama and raised my puppies well - they all have nice homes now! I would do best as the queen fur baby of the house without other pets. I've been waiting very patiently for my forever home as I've been going through heartworm treatment, but I now tested negative and am so ready for my forever family to find me! I'm really a sweet girl... the rescue people think I'm a cattle dog/pointer mix (whatever that is). I'm about 4 years old and weigh about 55 pounds (I'm currently a little on the chunky side). My adoption fee is now fully sponsored by a generous donor and includes my vet check, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test (negative!), microchip, and spay. If you think you have a place for me on your couch, please go to www.gofar.dog and complete a free, non-binding adoption application. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Story
Meet Chief! 🐾🤍 Chief is a 9-year-old male Pointer mix with a big heart, a goofy grin, and a gentle soul who’s ready for his retirement home. This nice boy is friendly, easygoing, and happiest enjoying leisurely walks and relaxed time with his people. He still has plenty of personality, but his days of chaos are behind him—Chief is all about comfort, companionship, and soaking up love. Chief is a people-only kind of guy and is looking for a home with NO dogs, NO cats, and NO kids so he can enjoy a calm, predictable environment where he doesn’t have to compete for attention. He loves human company, enjoys being silly in his own goofy way, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. As a senior pup, Chief is eligible for our Silver Paws VIP program, making it even easier to give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves. If you’re searching for a mellow, affectionate dog to share peaceful walks and cozy days with, Chief is ready to settle in and enjoy the good life by your side. 🐶
