This 8-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer is the definition of calm and collected. He came to us through no fault of his own, and he’s been showing off his mellow, easygoing personality ever since.He’s a total pro when it comes to grooming. Baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, all handled like a champ. Toys aren’t really his thing, but treats, cozy beds, and a comfy spots absolutely are. This sweet guy isn’t high energy or demanding; he’s happiest just hanging out, enjoying a soft bed, and soaking up quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key friend who’ll be content simply being near you, he’s ready to bring his calm, loving presence into your home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Zelle is a stunning, approximately one-year-old German Shorthair Pointer blend (according to her previous owner) who is actively searching for a place to call her own. She is an incredibly smart and motivated girl with a keen desire to learn and engage. She already knows a few basic manners like 'sit' and 'lay down' and is enthusiastic about mastering many more tricks, making her an exciting partner for anyone interested in positive reinforcement training! This energetic girl absolutely loves going for walks and thrives on physical and mental stimulation. She would be a fantastic, devoted companion for an active individual or family who enjoys spending time outdoors and can provide her with plenty of opportunities for exercise and adventure. Zelle came into our care because she was not compatible with the other female dogs in her previous home. To ensure she can be the happiest, most relaxed version of herself, her previous family thought she would do best in an only-pet home. She has also shown us pretty quickly at Safe Haven that cats and Zelle definitely would not be ideal.  She deserves to be the queen of the castle and receive all the attention and focus from her human family, which we know will allow her loving and clever personality to truly shine! The great news is that Zelle is fully prepared to jump right into her new life! She is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, she was previously spayed, and has been microchipped. So if you are looking for a loyal, active, and clever girl ready for adventure, Zelle is waiting for you! Please complete an online adoption application for Zelle if you're interested in meeting her.
