Are you looking for unconditional love? Do you want someone that will stare lovingly into your eyes every morning? Someone that will show you how much they care for you every time you come through the door? Then consider Phillip as your new companion! As a volunteer, I've been fostering Phillip for a week, so far. He is one of, if not, the most gentle dogs I have ever had the absolute joy to foster. Everything he does is with a gentle paw. He bonds quickly and deeply with those that will show him the attention he deserves. He is also very intelligent. He has learned the basic commands, stop, no, EH!, did you do this, and more. Phillip is a transfer from another shelter, so we don't know much about his history, but he was definitely someone's loving companion before his current predicament. He is nothing less than a deeply loving young man that wants nothing more than to make you happy. He loves holding hands, giving kisses, playing with his toys, and going for walks. He would probably (almost definitely) get along with other dogs. He obviously wanted to play with my dog so much, but she is too old and crotchety. He falls for everyone he meets on his walks, during which he behaves wonderfully! He gets a little curious when left alone and may pull a few things down, but he never destroys what he gets inquisitive about! He seems most interested in straps, belts, and leashes for his own reasons. Give him a few days to learn your home life and routine and I guarantee he will make your home a happier and more loving home! Though he loves all of the attention he can get, at night, he is happy to start out cuddled up to you before giving you some personal space as he moves to the floor (or furniture) until it is time to get up, at which point he will gently and quietly get on the bed and nudge you awake. Please consider coming to meet this bright and handsome young man who deserves a phenomenal forever home, plenty of attention, snuggles, and pets! I promise, you won't regret it!
