I was rescued from a puppy mill, and every single day I'm discovering just how wonderful life can be. I'm learning how to walk on a leash, and my foster family says I'm already getting the hang of it! One thing that comes naturally to me is pointing when we're out on walks—it's just part of who I am! I also love taking my time to sniff and explore all the exciting sights and smells around me. I'm still figuring out this whole "being a dog" thing, and it's been so much fun! I'm learning how to play with toys, and my favorite thing to do is gather them in my crate and snuggle up with them. Cuddles are one of my favorite things in the whole world, and I never say no to gentle pets from my foster family. I get along well with other dogs, children, and I've even learned that cats are pretty wonderful too! Because of my past, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. Life wasn't always kind to me, so it takes me a little time to trust. But once I know I'm safe, my true personality comes shining through. In just the past month, I've learned so much. I'm discovering that people can be kind, that I don't have to be afraid anymore, and that life can be filled with love, comfort, fun, and new adventures.
