Meet our goofball with amazing ears! Topaz loves to play but after he wears himself out he enjoys being cuddled. His talents include paw dexterity, he uses them like hands, and his ability to climb objects to get to treats. He does great in the crate when sleeping and loves snuggly dog beds. We are working on potty training and leash training. Topaz loves kids and other dogs! We believe he is a cattle dog shepherd mix born near the second week of July 2023. His fun personality is sure to bring you a lifetime of laughter! ##1819863##

Story
Hi! My name is Jasper, but my foster mom likes to call me Butters. She says I’m like the butter at Texas Roadhouse, soooooo sweet! I’m apart of the Gem litter within the rescue. I live with numerous other dogs of all ages & sizes. As of March 2023, I’m approximately 35lbs. I love playing with all my fellow resident & foster siblings! When I’m not outside running & playing catch, I love playing with all my rubber, tough material & nylon toys! My foster mom says toys definitely keep me out of trouble. I am able to completely entertain myself and chew on a toy in my bed.  Another favorite thing of mine are treatos! I think treats make me smarter, so I want them always! But once I have let out all my energy, I love cuddling up in foster mom’s lap, and taking a nap. She even holds me like a baby and rubs my belly while I’m sleeping. She says it is pretty stinkin’ adorable! I am wonderful in a crate during the day & night. Did I mention I am potty trained too?! I’m learning to walk on a leash and I have already learn “sit” & “room”. With all that said, might you have a place in your home & heart for me? ##1819866##

Story
Rusty is the first to try things, and check out what the noise is, but foster mom or dad helps by being nearby. His day is to play hard, then sleep. He does like to lay on the sofa by his people. Foster mom and dad think he is "so cute" and tell him ALL the time. They work with him on potty training, although it is hard to go outside in the cold, but he will go out when they say "go outside potty" to him. He likes their doggy door and uses it to go out and play with his brother and try sharing his toys with him.. He has learned how to get along with the dogs in the house. He loves their granddaughters when they come and loves it when they play and talk to him. Check out those cute ears!! Apply today! Story
Meet Honey! She is an 8 month old, 70 lbs Pointer/Pittie mix. She is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and microchipped. This little girl and her 10 littermates were born to one of our momma dogs that was confiscated due to animal cruelty. They and momma (Jazzy) are finally ready to find their forever homes and families! She has been living in a foster home with her brother and sister, Oreo and Cocoa. Her name suits her well as she is super sweet. We like to call her Honey Bunny. She isn't a fan of loud noises but loves to cuddle. She can be slow to warm up to new people but loves her family so much! She plays hard with her siblings or toys then passes right out. She likes attention and pets but isn't one to be held for very long. Honey is a big fan of her chew toys and loves a good squeaky toy! Honey is kennel and house trained. She is still young and will need a family to help her finish learning all the ropes. She is good with other dogs and has been exposed to different breed and sizes. We're unsure how she is with cats. She has been around older children and would probably be okay with younger ones as she's not prone to biting or scratching when she plays. She is very food motivated which should make training go great! She loves treats and is learning her basic commands. She and her siblings do best eating separately from each other. Sweet Honey would make a great addition to any dog-loving family and we can't wait to find the one that's meant for her! You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@yahoo.com or apply to meet/adopt her at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application!
