Story
Meet Zeus! ⚡️ Zeus has officially graduated from our Paws in Prison program and he is READY to take on the world. This handsome, lean athlete is what we lovingly call the life of the party. He walks into a room like confetti just went off. He is outgoing, confident, and absolutely loves being part of the action. Zeus is super sweet, incredibly affectionate, and very well behaved. He knows all of his basic obedience commands, has started working on advanced skills, and even has a few fun tricks up his sleeve. He is a smart boy who truly enjoyed his training and it shows. Now let’s talk energy. Zeus has a strong, athletic build and a high drive to match. He would thrive with an active family who enjoys running, hiking, long walks, or any kind of outdoor adventure. If you’ve been looking for a built-in fitness partner, this is your guy. He is dog friendly with most dogs. His play style is enthusiastic and strong, so he would do best with a dog his size or larger who enjoys active play. He would not be a good match for a home where a small dog is his only playmate. Zeus is housetrained, well mannered, and absolutely ready to bring excitement, laughter, and love into someone’s life. He doesn’t just want to live in your home. He wants to live in your world. If you are looking for steady and quiet, Zeus is not your dog. If you are looking for loyal, loving, trained, athletic, and ready to roll… Zeus is waiting. ⚡️ Be sure to visit our Facebook page for additional pictures and updates on our rescues: Canine Partners Program Inc Please note: We cannot guarantee breed or breed mix, as our information is often limited to what is observed or shared by a previous owner. Story
🌼 Meet Mae 🌼 German Shorthaired Pointer mix (best guess) Mae is pure sunshine wrapped in fur. She is a happy-go-lucky, outgoing girl with a gentle, sweet nature and a heart that loves everyone she meets, kids included. Mae has that rare combination of being both joyful and soft, making her a wonderful companion for a variety of households. Mae is a proud graduate of our positive Paws-in-Prison training program, where she truly flourished. She is house trained, crate trained, and obedience trained, and she absolutely loves to learn. Mae is incredibly intelligent and has an impressive list of tricks she can perform. Training is not work for her, it’s her favorite hobby. She does very well with other dogs and loves to play. With some dogs, she benefits from slower, proper introductions. This need can be somewhat random, but overall Mae is social, playful, and enjoys canine companionship. Mae came to us as a stray and was surrendered by her previous family due to containment challenges. Because she is such a smart problem-solver, she has figured out how to escape traditional fencing, including in-ground fencing. For her safety, a secure setup such as a zip line or closely supervised outdoor time is strongly encouraged. This allows her to enjoy the outdoors she loves while staying safe. Mae previously lived with cats in her former home. In the rescue environment, however, she becomes overly stimulated around cats, so we recommend a home without cats or with an adopter experienced in managing higher arousal and structured environments. Mae is an incredibly special dog. She is affectionate, intelligent, eager to please, and full of personality. With the right setup and continued positive guidance, she will make a loyal, loving, and joyful addition to her future family. ⸻ Be sure to visit our Facebook page for additional pictures and information on our rescues!
