🐾Luna is out seeking her forever home!🐾 Luna is a spirited and athletic 3-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who’s always ready for adventure. She adores people and gets along with other dogs. Luna is looking for a home where she can run, play, train, and put her mind to work every day. She comes from strong hunting lines, and thrives on activity and purpose. Luna is not a dog who will be content staying home all day — she loves spending her time exploring, learning, and staying busy. Luna recently completed her final veterinary follow-up and is officially ready for her new home! She has also been professionally evaluated through our behavior and training program by a certified trainer. She will continue receiving professional training until she finds her forever family. Wes is a senior German Shorthaired Pointer deserving of comfort for his senior years! Although he is an older guy, he still has a lot of energy and needs space to run! Wes is great with all people, including kids. He does not know his size so he may knock small kids over. He is also good with other dogs. Wes has resided in a foster home for a while and is hoping to find that special person to love him forever!

Josie is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home. Josie is a sweet, nine month old German Shorthaired Pointer mix-loving pup who adores kids and wants nothing more than to be near her humans. She has a laid-back personality but still enjoys playtime, especially with toys, bones, and anything chewable. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite! Josie is doing well with her house training. Josie walks nicely on a leash. Josie enjoys playing with her foster dog roommate, though she can be dog-selective and may need slow, thoughtful introductions. She’s shown no aggression—just a desire to set boundaries. Still new to foster life, Josie is quickly proving to be a gentle, affectionate girl who will make a wonderful companion. Be sure to check our Facebook page "Rhode Home Rescue" for details on upcoming events and other announcements. Mara is doing great with house and crate training! She really LOVES other dogs and would do best with one in the home to help her blossom and give her a lead to follow! She doesn't mind the cat either. She walks well on the leash and is really happy and a submissive player with other pups. Really young kids probably aren't a great fit for Mara since she really would love to keep her environment with a low level of chaos. This girl is looking for her zen!
