Story
I adopted Lana in 2018 when she was about 1 year old from Dumb Friends League in Denver, CO. She had given birth to a litter of puppies already. She is around 9 years old now. She doesn't have any health concerns, she's very happy and energetic. The primary issue I've had with her has been her strong herding instinct. It takes a while for her to warm up to house guests. She needs to be introduced outside, and given lots of treats until she calms down. It usually takes several introductions before she is truly comfortable with a new friend in the home. She is good on a leash and only pulls when she sees another dog that is excited. She would much prefer a quiet house with a yard. Due to my life circumstances changing we live in a small apartment and I have to be gone for work a lot of the time. She is house trained but not kennel trained. Thanks for your time. Story
Tex was found roaming the street in East Nashville TN. He followed us home on a run and has been getting spoiled while we try to find him a home ever since! We've taken him to the vet and think he is about 1 year old give or take. He is smart and has already learned tricks like "sit" and "paw". He gets along well with our chihuahua but sometimes needs to warm up to other dogs or people. He loves the outdoors, to snuggle, and has a very silly personality. He is incredibly sweet and we would keep him if we could. He is definitely a working dog and needs to go to a home that can accommodate his energy. A house with a yard would be preferred as well as an owner who loves long walks! He truly is going to be the perfect companion for someone. We have no idea where he came from and why nobody came looking for him but we hope he finds the home he was supposed to be in all along!
