Story
Franco’s mom was adopted by a very nice couple who soon found out she was pregnant! Mom is a German Short Haired Pointer. Our best guess is that dad is a Lab. The mom’s parents have taken very good care of the puppies including getting their tails docked and their dewclaws removed. It wasn’t long before they realized they would need help finding homes for these babies. They didn’t want them to leave without being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped! That is where Mini Wonders Adoptions comes in. We have had all the babies fully vetted and they are now ready to find their furever homes! If you are interested in one of these incredible babies let us know!

Story
I have coco since she was a puppy. A breeder from Houston TX, had her on a website I searched and decided I wanted a pointer dog. She is about 3 1/2 years old and very smart. She is a very loving and playful dog with lots of energy. I would like her to go to a new home with lots of space where she can spread out, preferably a ranch of some sort, and lots of love.

Oreo is 4 months, we were dog sitting for a friend who moved and is not able to keep them. They asked for our help re homing sweet Oreo. He is very playful and loves running around outside for fun time. Oreo is house broken however, if he drinks too much water he will have an accident if not taken out in time. Oreo loves cuddles and watching tv on the couch.

Story
Arrow is now at his ideal weight, looking handsome and athletic with a shiny, healthy coat. He’s gained a lot of confidence in his place in the pack and enjoys wrestling with his Weim foster brother. Arrow is a German Shorthaired Pointer and he’s about 2 years old and 60 pounds. Arrow is a large, athletic dog. His long legs give him natural running ability, and with continued practice he will make an amazing running buddy. He regularly does 8-12 milers with us, and does need a few reminders to stay focused but it’s steadily improving. He also loves walks - we do two kinds of walks. One we call “sniff walks” on a long lead where Arrow can follow his nose. The other is just about exercise business and he walks really effectively on a half hitch to curtail the pulling. Arrow needs these outlets - both mental and physical - to be his best self. Arrow is doing well on sit and getting better at come. We are also working on “place”, which we think is important to peace at the dinner table, as Arrows head is effectively table level. He’s completely house trained and crate trained. He’s a handsome athlete and will be successful with a family who can commit to giving him the physical and mental outlets GSPs need to be good dogs. After seeing him settle in, I’d be comfortable with him going to families with other dogs (male and female) with patient adjustment time and the understanding that this boy is a giant puppy, who loves big and plays big.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.
