Story
Ester is a beautiful young pup, estimated to be between 10-12 months old, with black and white/grey and typical gsp coat. She had a rough start to life but is thriving in our care. Ester was found starving and abandoned, covered in fleas and severely malnourished. Despite her rough start, she has blossomed into a loving and trusting companion. Ester is incredibly confident and playful with both people and other dogs. Her journey to recovery has not dampened her spirit. She is still very petite but has filled in nicely since being found. Social Skills and Behavior: Ester is a high energy pup who loves to play and interact with others. She is affectionate and enjoys the company of people and other dogs. Her playful nature means she sometimes doesn't realize her own strength and has accidentally knocked over toddlers, always looking apologetic afterwards. Despite this, she is gentle and caring, making her a sweet addition to any family. Training and Progress: In the last few months, Ester has shown remarkable progress: - Potty training: She is working on it and making steady improvements. Never poops inside but has trouble holding her bladder for more than a few hours. - Crate training: she is crate trained and enjoys being in her kennel staying quiet for the most part unless she needs to go potty. - Leash training: She walks easily on a leash, making walks enjoyable. Health and Care: Ester has had a few health complications. During her spay surgery, the vet noticed abnormalities. During recovery, her previous foster noticed she was having a hard time holding her bladder while in her kennel. After follow up visits with the vet, they decided an additional exploratory surgery was necessary. The vet discovered her bladder was lined with unknown substance that was hard as bone. Biopsy of the material found came back as unknown and puzzled the vets. After a few rounds of antibiotics she has made a full recovery from her last surgery however still has an incontinence issue. She is currently on a medication to help her with this issue and we have seen improvements, however she still needs to wear a diaper inside and in her kennel. She has been on the new medication for about 3 weeks and we have seen significant improvements and more than half of the time her diapers are completely dry. Ideal Home: Ester will thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime. Due to her high energy levels and strength, she will do best with a family who can provide her with ample training and supervision. She loves being around people and will be a wonderful companion for a family who can match her playful spirit and give her the love she deserves. If you are looking for a resilient, affectionate, and energetic pup to add joy and excitement to your life, Ester could be the perfect fit. She is ready to find her forever home and share her love and playful energy with a family who will cherish her. Come meet Ester and see if she’s the perfect addition to your family! Foster-to-Adopt is a great way for a trial period with a dog.

Story
Chopper is a smart older guy who loves people. He's very loyal, he loves to be petted and anywhere you are. Chopper would do best in a calmer home with experienced dog owners. He would do best as an only dog and he isn't fond of cats. He can get very excited and loves to play with toys and he is a strong chewer. A home without small children is recommended. Chopper has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
