Daisy is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle! While shy initially, she has really started to bloom after getting out of the shelter. Her foster mom has discovered she is actually quite curious about the world around her and will sniff everything! She loves laying in the sun, playing tug of war, and chewing on toys. So far gets along well with all dogs and humans, just takes a little while to warm up. Has even been doing well wither foster cat sibling and will nap in the sun with her. She is still learning how to walk on a leash, sleep in a crate, and potty train as all of it is new to her, but is doing well so far! Adoption fees are $350 unless otherwise stated. Senior dog adoption fees are $200. 100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter. Clarabelle is a playful, outgoing girl. She absolutely loves to play and often has a hard time picking her favorite toy and will switch toys every few minutes to a new one! She gets along great so far with other dogs and has had a blast playing with her foster dog sibling! Just as much as she enjoys to play though, she also enjoys a good snuggle session and will plop right down in your lap when you sit down. Her super soft fur, pettable ears, and squishable, kissable face makes you want to sit and snuggle with her for hours! So far doing well with crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Sweet, playful, cuddly, goofy - what more could you want?! Adoption fees are $350 unless otherwise stated. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This handsome boy was found as a stray near one of the elementary schools where he was trying to enroll. We have not tested him with other dogs at this time because he has not yet become legally a ward of Campbell County, but because he is a puppy, we feel he will probably be fine if placed in the correct home. Like other dogs with his Bràd, he is happy, lively, and interested in everything going on around him, despite being at the shelter.   PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the  Adoption Application heading on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption. Xena is a sweet 6-year-old girl who is looking for a new family after spending six wonderful years in the home that adopted her as a puppy. Her family loved her very much and was heartbroken to make the decision to return her. Unfortunately, Xena was extremely uncomfortable and terrified around the toddler in the home and was not happy with the situation. With another baby on the way, her family ultimately felt that finding Xena a home where she could feel safe and comfortable was the best thing for her. It was a difficult decision, and they were very sad to say goodbye. Now, Xena is trying to figure out why her familiar world has suddenly changed. After six years in a home, the shelter is a big adjustment, and she is understandably confused. What she needs now is someone who will give her the time, love, and reassurance she needs to settle in again. Xena loves affection and wants to be with her people. She is a smart girl who knows her name, sit, and place, and she has done well with other dogs here at the shelter. She previously lived with another dog and cats, although she would prefer cats who respect her space rather than ones who want to bully her. She does need to be fed separately from other dogs. Xena is ready for a fresh start, and we would love nothing more than to see her back in a loving home where she can relax, feel secure, and be someone's beloved companion again.

From my foster: Mabel! It was never Maybelline, this girl was born with it, beautiful is an understatement! She is a very very shy little lady with humans but dogs/cats, she’s never met one she didn’t like! She’s a perfect medium energy dog who loves playing outside with her siblings but equally loves laying on the couch to unwind after a nice play sess! With a lot of patience I know she would love to snuggle I can tell she wants to but right now she’s still getting use to people so she wants to be in the same room but not too close yet. She’s crate and potty trained and has the cutest little quirky legs that make her stand out in the best way possible! She would thrive in a calmer home with a dog sibling and patient paw-rents that can help her heal and learn humans aren’t all bad!
