Percy Needs a Foster ASAP! Meet Percy, Paisley’s brother! This sweet 4 month old boy has had a rough start to life, but he’s finally learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Now he needs a foster home to help him continue that journey. At 23 pounds, Percy looks like a little chocolate Lab and has the playful, goofy personality to match. He absolutely loves playing ball in the backyard and is learning that walks on a leash can be pretty fun too. Percy thrives when he has another dog to learn from. His sister Paisley has been a wonderful example for him, and we know having a confident canine companion will help him continue building his confidence and understanding of the world. He’s also learning that a crate isn’t so scary. His foster family has discovered that covering the crate helps him relax and settle, and he’s making progress. We hope to get Percy neutered this week. While he’s at the vet, we’d also like them to take a look at his skin. He had a rough beginning, and we’re hopeful that good nutrition, proper care, and time will help him continue to thrive. Percy needs a patient foster who can give him consistency, affection, and a safe place to learn.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Amelia! Amelia is about 4 months old and weighs about 18 lbs. We have no idea on breed mix, but our guess is German Short hair Pointer/Hound - JUST A GUESS. Amelia is a happy, playful and sweet puppy. She is at her happiest when she is sitting in your lap:) Amelia is great with the resident dogs in her foster home. Amelia is doing great with her house training. Amelia sleeps in her crate through the night. Amelia is ready for any adventure and is happy when she has a lap to sit on. Because Amelia is a young puppy, the adopter must be home during the day to continue training and socialization and help the puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog. This puppy has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be spayed/neuter at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

To learn more about Grumpy, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Grumpy will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Much like Snow White’s dwarf, the name Grumpy doesn’t describe his true nature. He is a high-energy, strong, extroverted, playful pup who is bursting with enthusiasm and ready to share it with anyone willing to keep up. He needs to brush up on his walking etiquette because he just gets so excited to explore the world. Grumpy is a bit of a jumper and throws all of his energy into playing. He is ready for a new home life and seems willing to follow the leader of the pack if he has dog siblings.

Prue bread German Short Hair Pointer. Intact male. Turned two years old this spring. Crate trained and house broken. Loves other dogs and children. Obedience trained. He is a great dog with a high prey drive. My work situation has changed and have two toddlers in the house so he isn't getting the attention he needs. Must have a large fenced yard.
