Meet Odaeng❤️ 💙 Odeang's Updates Account: @hooi.zip 1⃣ Health Status * Neutering: Completed. * Others: Microchipped, and heartworm retest scheduled (July 2026) 2⃣ Rescue Story * We met Odaeng while Adogs was volunteering to prepare for winter at the Gimje Shelter. The weather was getting colder, and the shelter was struggling with poor conditions and a spreading contagious disease. It seemed too dangerous for Odaeng to endure those surroundings, so Adogs rescued him urgently. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics * With Humans: He is quite shy and fearful. He tends to hide in corners to avoid touch, but if petted gently, he stays still without running away. While adjusting to the center, he stayed in one spot, but he ate and did potty when no one was around. * With Dogs: He acted indifferent toward the friends he stayed with at the center. He generally shows little interest in other dogs. * With Cats: He hasn't met any cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown yet as it hasn't been long since he moved to a foster home. * Potty Training: After one mistake at the center, he has been using indoor pads very well. * Hygiene: He was very calm and well-behaved while being groomed at a shop. * Car Sickness: He rides well in cars without any motion sickness. * Biting/Mouthing: He has never shown any signs of biting. * Barking: He hasn't shown any unnecessary barking. Even when he hears noises outside, he might tilt his head, but he doesn't bark. * Dislikes: He takes some time to adjust to new environments. You will need to wait patiently until Odeang feels comfortable.

Story
Buffy was found locked inside a cage on the side of a freeway with two other dogs. Likely hundreds of people drove by and did nothing, but one kind woman stopped to help. Her name is Anna and we thank her for saving their lives. They had no collars, tags, or microchips. We don’t know exactly how long they were out there, but by the looks of it, it was likely several days. They had no food or water. Their paws were so caked in dried poop that they were stuck to the metal cage and couldn’t move. Now safe and thriving at Shelter Hope, we named them Xander, Buffy, and Angel. Buffy is a 7-year-old Pom mix weighing about 23 pounds. She is gentle, super sweet, and a bit timid at first, but once she warms up she becomes friendly, affectionate, and very cuddly. She loves attention, enjoys being petted, and is happiest curled up in a lap or resting beside her people. Buffy has a calm, loving nature, does well with other dogs, and is good with kids. Buffy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption. She’s looking for a forever home where she can finally feel safe, cherished, and truly at home. ---- Looking to Adopt?
