Bob 3-month-old male Pomeranian Located in Decatur, IL leiashope.org Bob is a silly, sweet boy who is enjoying learning all of the things about life as a pet in a home. He is being fostered with a young child and cats. He is curious about the cats but mostly is seeking out attention and affection from the humans in the home. His dog bed and his toys are his favorite treasures! Who knew life could be so grand? Bob was born with a Grade 2 heart murmur. Per our veterinarian, this will need to be monitored as he grows. No treatment or medications are recommended at this time. In spite of this, Bob remains playful and happy and isn't letting it slow him down! He will require routine grooming every six weeks with brushing in between appointments. Bob’s adoption fee is $550. He is microchipped, current on vaccines, and takes monthly heartworm prevention. He will come with a neuter contract for when he reaches 6 months old. At that time, Leia's Hope will contribute $200 to the adopter's vet clinic towards the cost. Preference for Bob are young children or playful dogs in the home to match his energy level. We are a volunteer-run rescue, and all of our dogs are cared for in foster homes. Please allow 7–10 business days for application processing. Meet and greets are scheduled only after an application is approved and take place at the dog’s location. All family members, including resident dogs, must attend. We do not provide transport, and adopters must travel to the dog’s location for adoption. If flying, the dog must ride in the cabin. Adopters should be prepared to love and care for Bob for the remainder of his life—12+wonderful years ahead. Applications at leiashope.org. Located in Decatur, IL.
