Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Bori is a mature, gentle girl who spent a long time in a shelter before being rescued. She is the kind of dog whose presence is so quiet that you might not even notice she’s there— soft, calm, and unobtrusive. She rarely barks and enjoys simply staying close to her person. From the very first moment you meet her, she’s the kind of dog who makes you think, “I just want to hold her.” Bori’s personality is pure gentleness. She is calm, well-mannered, and never disruptive to the atmosphere of a home. She stays quietly by your side, which somehow makes you care for her even more, with a tender feeling in your heart. One important note: Bori tends to chase cats, so a home without cats would be best for her. In a new environment, she may have a few potty accidents at first due to nervousness. With a little time and patience, she will adjust and gradually settle in. Bori doesn’t ask for much. A quiet space, a patient person, and a family willing to spend calm, unhurried time together is all she needs. She isn’t overly affectionate or demanding, but just having her nearby is comforting in itself. That’s the kind of dog Bori is. She is no longer looking to be alone— she is waiting for a family who will stay quietly by her side, just as she will for them. 🐾🤍

He was rescued from an illegal breeding facility where dogs are treated as products instead of companions — but those days are behind him now. Mochi is safe, cared for, and finally getting the chance to discover what love truly feels like. At two years old, Mochi is settling into a beautiful stage of life. He enjoys calm environments, gentle reassurance, and being near his trusted people. He may be small, but his heart is enormous — and once he bonds with you, that loyalty runs deep. &#226&#156&#168 Mochi is looking for a patient, committed foster or forever home that will give him the stability and kindness he’s always deserved. With time and love, he will continue to blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Adoption Information Mochi’s adoption fee is $1,695, a non-refundable donation that helps us continue rescuing dogs from unimaginable conditions. It includes: • Neuter • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport to Seattle &#226&#156&#136&#239&#184&#143 A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption helps make space for another life to be saved. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Mochi the loving future he’s been waiting for. February 28, 2026, 11:07 am

Story
Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org My name is Mac Fox and I am a wonderful estimated  6 year old, 12.6 lb. male Pomeranian.  I was rescued from a local shelter.  I am so excited to find my forever home soon.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your very best friend.  I get along well with all people but can be a little nervous on first meeting .  I will do best in a home with a loving family that can give me lots of  love and affection!  Our pet rescue dog trainer would be happy to come to your home and help train me and this is highly recommended.  My adoption fee of $1095. covers Spay/Neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordatella, Deworm,Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate, and help save the next dog.  The adoption fee is firm and helps cover the medical expenses of our other rescue dogs in need.    A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.
