Story
Maya is a sweet old lady looking for her perfect purse partner! She’s been with me for 7 years and is turning 12 this May. She’s a sweet little cuddle bug with a big play personality looking for her snuggle partner. Unfortunately, due to my severe allergies I cannot keep her any longer. She would love to be someone’s best friend and would do best in a house with other small dogs, and gentle adults, as she has neuropathy and I believe she may have the early stages of cushing’s. She’s so much fun and would love someone to take her for walks and runs and help her live her best life!

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Sophie from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 8 yr old female Pomeranian.  I am about 9 lbs. and hoping to find a  forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive everyday.  I was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,195 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. He'll happily follow you around and eagerly approach anyone with a wagging tail, even strangers! 🐶 * Compatibility with Dogs: He loves doggy friends too! He's still learning, especially in unfamiliar places or occasionally on the bed. * Hygiene: He loves baths! He's not a big fan of blow-drying, brushing, or nail trimming, but he tolerates them well! He behaves exceptionally well in unfamiliar places 😂 * Walks: He enjoys walks! He loves receiving attention from strangers as they pass by 😉 * Carsick: He doesn't suffer from it much. 💌Special Note💌 * He has learned commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' and 'nose.' Story
Sugar! ❤️💕🐾 A Fluffy Pomeranian Ready to Steal Your Heart! Meet Sugar! A sweet and loving 2-year-old female Pomeranian pup! She is a tiny Pom, weighing in at 2kg or roughly 4.5lbs! Sugar is a bit shy when she first meets someone, but once she gets to know you, she is very outgoing and full of love! Sugar gets along with men, women and children, along with other dogs big and small! She hasn’t met any cats yet, but we doubt that she would have any issues with one! Sugar is very intelligent and would make the perfect companion for a family! She is always wagging her tail, and smiling, ready to share her unconditional love with her future family. This precious girl had a rough beginning when she was used as a puppy breeding dog at an illegal puppy mill. After giving birth to two different litters, both by cesarean section, when the puppy mill decided she was no longer profitable and were planning to dispose of her, our partner rescue picked her up from the scene of this puppy mill. Please consider opening your home and heart to Sugar and give this sweet furball of love a chance to be a part of a furever family! If you are interested in adopting Sugar, please reach out to us at www.welcomepawsrescue,org, and we can guide you through the adoption process. Let’s find Sugar a home today! ❤️Name: Sugar ❤️Breed: Pomeranian ❤️ Age: 2 years old ❤️Gender: Female ❤️Weight: 2kg (~4.5 Lbs) ❤️Spayed/Neutered: 👉Good with Adults: She is a little shy at first, but she likes people too much. She likes everyone and wants to be with people. She likes to hug and kiss people and waits to be touched by them 👉Good with children: She is gentle with children. 👉Good with other dogs: She gets along well with both big and small dogs. 👉Good with cat: She has never met a cat, but we don't expect any major problems when they are properly introduced. 👉 Any type of aggression at any particular situations: No, she hasn't displayed any aggressions. 👉 Any prey drive: No 👉 Energy level: Moderate 👉Leash trained: Yes 👉Crate trained: No 👉House trained: Yes 👉Does the dog bark? How much and when: Her vocal cord was removed from the breeding farm, but she tries to bark when another dog takes her cushion, a stranger visits the house and the family comes home (Happy Barking). 👉Flight risk: No 👉Does the dog like to be touched? Any issues with touching anywhere specific on the dog’s body: Likes: Touching, Petting and Cuddling. Dislikes: Cleaning her bottom and around her face. Hair brushing 👉Destroys and chews anything in the house: No 👉Possessive towards food or toys or etc. with humans and/or other dogs: None 👉Any past or present health issues: She was born at an illegal dog breeding ground and lived there for two years. She had vocal cord removal surgery which caused no voice at all.

Story
Miso is an incredibly sweet boy with some issues. He was approximately 7 or 8 when I adopted him from the shelter, and he's now about 9 or 10. I love him to pieces, but behavioral issues in apartment living after some changes in my circumstances as well as some upcoming medical bills that I cannot afford mean I am forced to find a new home for my sweet son. As I said, Miso is from the shelter, and his background before that is unknown but doesn't seem to have been good - he very much does not get along well with other dogs, so he would demand to be the only pet. He takes a long time to warm up to people, but becomes very strongly attached and socially anxious - despite my attempts to train him, he barks nonstop when I leave the apartment, leading to seriously bothering the neighbors. For this reason, he definitely would do best in a home where someone is usually home to keep him company. He also needs multiple teeth pulled, which I cannot afford.
