Story
MJ is a gorgeous 2-3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer with all the classic traits that make the breed so special. She’s smart, athletic, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. MJ loves being around her people and thrives on companionship—she’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you’re doing. As a true GSP, MJ has energy to spare and will do best with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, runs, or outdoor play. She’s eager to learn and responds well to positive training, especially when it keeps her mind engaged. Mental stimulation is just as important to her as physical exercise, and she’ll shine in a home that gives her both. After a day of activity, she’s happy to settle in for some cuddle time and enjoy being close. She’ll do best in a home that understands her breed’s needs and is committed to providing structure, exercise, and plenty of attention. MJ is currently being fostered in a home with an older kiddo as well as multiple dogs. MJ has strong alpha traits and does not like to be challenged. While she gets along great with neutral and submissive dogs, being an only dog or with an experienced owner and slow intros is recommended. If you’re looking for an intelligent, affectionate, and active companion who will be your partner in all of life’s adventures, MJ might be your perfect match! BilliesBuddies.org/adopt
