Story
Daisy is a beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix with a heart of gold and a soulful gaze that will melt yours. We fell in love with her loyalty and classic Chessie spirit, and while she is a wonderful dog, she is currently looking for a home where she can be the true center of your world. Daisy is the definition of a loyal partner. She is affectionate, enjoys a good nap, and thrives on human connection. Daisy currently lives in a very busy household with five children, 3 cats, and another dog. While she is a sweet and loving girl, she struggles with inter-dog resource guarding. In a house full of kids, the environment is naturally unpredictable; a dropped snack or a forgotten toy can trigger a defensive reaction toward our other dog. Despite our professional expertise in behavior modification and our deep love for her, it has become clear that living in a multi-dog home is stressful for Daisy. We want her to live a life where she doesn't have to worry about competing for resources.
