Our medical team does everything they can to ensure the health of our dogs before they are placed up for adoption, which includes (but is not limited to): - Vaccinations against Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus and Parainfluenza (all dogs have at least 2 of these vaccines (value $60+), puppies at least 3 (value $90+)) - Vaccination against Bordetella and Leptospirosis (value $40+) - Vaccination against Rabies (dogs 5+ months; value $20+) - Test (Idexx Snap 4Dx) for Heartworm, Lyme's disease, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis (for adult dogs; value $60+) - Recent full panel blood test (value $150+) for all adult dogs - Micro-chip with life long free registration (value $50+) - Deworming (roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms; value $20+) - Treatment with Bravecto against fleas and ticks (value $50+) Of course, ALL our dogs are spayed or neutered before going to their new home. How Nina arrived:Nina was born on campus on October 29, 2025. Why Nina is the one for you:Meet Nina, a bright and bouncy young pup who is already winning hearts with her friendly nature and happy-go-lucky personality. She greets people with a wiggly body and a wagging tail, and she's always ready to make a new friend. Nina is wonderfully social with humans and has been practicing polite greetings using treats and cues in both English and Spanish. She already knows sit ("sientate"), stay, and "vámonos" for "let's go," showing just how smart and eager-to-learn she is. At home, Nina has the energy and curiosity you'd expect from a growing puppy. She loves to chew, especially while teething, so a variety of sturdy toys will help keep her busy and prevent her from choosing shoes or other household items instead. She's fully housetrained with a consistent morning and afternoon routine. When left alone, she settles best when she has toys available to keep her occupied. Nina is still learning about the world and can be a bit unsure around loud noises, barking dogs, or sudden sounds. With slow introductions and patient support, she has the potential to grow her confidence, but she would benefit from a home ready to guide her gently through new experiences. Nina is an active, loving, and intelligent puppy who is ready to continue learning and exploring with someone who can match her energy, patience, and enthusiasm.
