🐈🐱 Cat-friendly 🐱🐈 We’re not gonna sugarcoat it: Charlie has had it rough. But now, Charlie’s life has turned a corner, and things have never looked better for him! He gets to reinvent himself and live the life that every dog deserves to live. Because he was mistreated before coming into the rescue, Charlie takes a while to adjust to his environment. He needs patient adopters who’ll give him time and space to blossom into the real Charlie. At first, he is aloof, but once he is comfortable he warms up and is very loving. Charlie is about 5 years old, and he’s a 30-pound Maltese/Schnauzer mix. He’s sooo pretty, that it’s hard to resist loving all over him from the instant you meet him. Don’t worry, you and he will get there eventually. He ignores the cat and gets along ok with other dogs. He should live in house with kids who are 12 or older and who’ll give him space. He also should have a fenced yard, because he is afraid of the leash at the moment. He likely can be leash trained and will like walks once he adjusts to the leash. Charlie is house trained and will come to you neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We’ll also have him current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $225.
