Story
Meet Dash, Journey, Trek, and Quest!
This adventurous little crew is ready to find their forever homes! At around six months old and weighing between 20–25 pounds each, these four siblings are expected to grow into medium-sized dogs. They’re most likely Schnauzer/Terrier Mixes (with the exception of Journey, who rocks her own smooth-coated look), making them a perfect mix of scruff and charm.
These pups were found running loose—on the lam, so to speak—before a kind local shelter took them in, helping them gain much-needed weight and confidence. Now safe in rescue, they’re thriving and ready to start their next adventure: life with their forever families!
Dash, Journey, Trek, and Quest can be a little shy at first, but once they warm up, their playful, bouncy, and affectionate personalities shine through. They do wonderfully with other dogs, often taking cues from their furry friends and enjoying the comfort of canine company. With time and patience, they quickly show their friendly, attention-seeking sides and are eager to be part of the fun.
Whether you’re looking for a loyal hiking buddy, a playful companion, or a snuggly best friend, one of these sweet pups might just be your perfect match!
Trek, Dash, Journey, and Quest are fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The adoption fee for one puppy is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
