Jesse Cole is a sweet mama dog who has officially finished raising her puppies and is finally ready for a home of her very own. After spending so much time caring for her babies, it’s now her turn to be loved, spoiled, and given the chance to simply be someone’s companion. She can be a little shy and timid at first and takes some time to feel fully comfortable in new environments, but once she settles in, her gentle and loving personality starts to shine through. Jesse Cole does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a calm canine companion to help her feel more secure. Because she’s still building confidence, she would do best in a quieter home without children where she can continue coming out of her shell at her own pace. She’s also quite athletic and capable of jumping over fences, so she’ll need a secure environment and someone mindful of her adventurous side. Jesse Cole is a truly sweet girl who deserves a patient, understanding home where she can relax, feel safe, and finally enjoy life after motherhood. Jesse Cole is from Texas. ---- This pet is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian.
