Hi, my name is Tinker and I am from Missouri! Tinker is a pup looking to bring joy and love into a home of her own. Yes, she is that ADORABLE!! She is a happy soul. Her tail doesn’t stop wagging. Loves all her toys, ready to play and then take a break and recharge in a cozy lap. Tinker is always ready to offer affection and let you know how wonderful it is to be loved. Her curious personality keeps her exploring which can get her into trouble but a firm “no “ is all it takes to redirect her attention to pup friendly items. She likes to engage my resident dog into chasing games. She is working on her potty training and beginning crate training. She is very food motivated so this shouldn’t take long.

Valentine is a joyful, energetic girl who truly loves life and the people around her. She greets the world with enthusiasm and happiness, and it shows in everything she does. When she first comes out, she can be a little hyper with excitement, but once she settles in she walks nicely on a leash and enjoys spending time with her person. One of Valentine’s favorite things is being outdoors. She absolutely loves walks, exploring, and having space to run and play. When you let her out, she may zoom around like she’s exploring her whole territory in record time; she usually comes back by herself but some caution should be taken, especially in new environments. Valentine has a playful, goofy personality and thrives on companionship. She is very affectionate and clearly enjoys having someone to love and spend time with. You can see the happiness in her when she gets attention or gets to play. She does well with both big and small dogs and is friendly with people, including men and children over 10. Cats are unknown, and she has shown interest in chasing bunnies, so small animals may need careful introductions. Valentine is leash trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car. She will bark if other dogs start barking or if she needs to go outside from her crate. Because she is an energetic young dog, she would do best with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle—walks, trips to the park, or time playing outside. Valentine’s past is mostly unknown, but she was found after being dumped. Despite that rough start, she remains incredibly friendly and loving toward people. With her happy spirit, playful energy, and affectionate nature, Valentine would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a fun, loyal dog who loves adventure and affection just as much. 💕 Valentine is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 3/21/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. ---- *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. Story
Lulu is a perfect little girl with a heart full of love. This unique baby girl has a way of making everyone want to scoop her up and hold her close. She’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she’s near her people. At first, Lulu may be slightly unsure, but she warms up within just a couple of minutes and quickly shows her sweet, loving personality. She enjoys toys, lap time, and even likes water. With moderate energy, she has a playful side that keeps life fun, but she also knows how to relax and cuddle. Lulu is happy with toys and people and does well with adults, children over 10, and small dogs. She has basic skills and is mostly house trained. She’s generally quiet, though if she’s kenneled and needs to potty, she may softly cry to let you know. Her story is heartbreaking. Lulu was abandoned and left to die. When she came into foster care, she was in terrible condition — suffering from severe skin issues, fleas, ticks, and worms. Despite everything she endured, Lulu is a true survivor. It’s nothing short of a blessing that she made it through. Today, Lulu is a strong little girl, but her body is still delicate. She needs a loving home that will continue to care for her gently and cherish her the way she deserves. Lulu is ready to find a family who will never let her down again — a family who will treasure her sweet, funny personality and give her the forever home she has fought so hard to have! Lulu is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 03/07/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. Arianna is from Texas. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in the Houston area. Arianna is a sweet, but independent pup. She likes affection from her humans, but isn't needy about it. She's also an independent woman who DOES NOT like to be picked up. If you're looking for a pup to carry around she is not it. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share your days with?? Bingo.. she's your girl. Arianna is completely potty trained, but we always expect a bit of regression with change. A little patience and a consistent routine and she should be good to go. She is also crate trained.. sleeping there soundly through the night. She has some basic leash manners, and would love to show them off while you walk her around the neighborhood. She's never met a walk she didn't like. Arianna is happiest sleeping in a sunspot, or curled up on the couch next to you.
