Story
Hi, I’m Goldie! I’m a somewhat shy but very sweet girl who’s looking for a calm, quiet home where I can truly shine. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, you’ll see what a loving and gentle companion I can be. For now, I’ll need a slower-paced lifestyle so I can focus on feeling my best. The wonderful team here is providing everything I need to make that happen—you just bring the love! If you’re looking for a sweet soul to share your love and snuggles with, I might just be your girl.

Story
Hi there! My name is Denzel, and I’m a little dog looking for a big love. See I have a heart on my back! Just a few months ago, I was a scared little 1 1/2 year old Jack Russell - Chi mix boy – hiding under a car in a shopping center parking lot. I was only 9 pounds of trembling fur, wondering where my world had gone and if anyone would ever find me. Luckily, the wonderful FCCR ladies scooped me up, and I landed in a pawmazing foster home. My tail started wagging again, my signature smile returned, and I discovered I am actually quite the little character! Turns out, being small doesn’t mean having a small personality – I’ve got energy for days and enough charm to win over anyone I meet. These days, I’m living my best life while I wait for my forever family. I’ve become quite the little gentleman. I walk beautifully on a leash, ready for adventures around the neighborhood or trips to the park. And oh, do I love car rides! There’s something magical about watching the world go by from the passenger seat. When I’m not out exploring, you’ll find me mastering the art of tug-of-war with my toy collection. I’m surprisingly strong for such a little guy – must be that Jack Russell determination! But my absolute favorite thing? Snuggling under the covers with my humans. There’s no better feeling than being wrapped up warm and safe, knowing I’m exactly where I belong. I’m proud to say I’m completely crate-trained. I’m also working hard on my housebreaking skills, and everyone says I’m learning incredibly fast. Smart and handsome? I know, I know – I’m quite the catch! The best part about me? I absolutely adore kids and get along wonderfully with other dogs. There’s something about little humans that just makes me light up, and having doggy siblings sounds like the perfect adventure. As for cats… I haven’t met any yet but hey, I’m a friendly guy so we might become friends. What I’m really looking for is a family who will appreciate all of me – my playful puppy energy, my impressive agility skills, my award-winning smile, and yes, even my work-in-progress house manners. I want people who understand that the best things come in small packages, and that sometimes the dogs who’ve had the roughest starts make the most grateful companions. Could that be you? Head over to the rescue’s website, www.floridacockerrescue.org, to submit an application and let’s find out! ADOPTION FEE: $300.00

Story
Hi ya, friends!!! It’s me, Frisco! I’m an 8-years-young Cairn Terrier weighing just 12 lbs, which makes me the perfect size for scooping up and snuggling! I’m a true gentleman and a sweet boy who LOVES being with my humans—I’ll follow you everywhere because I never want to lose sight of you. My beautiful full tail is always wagging, especially when I see my favorite people! I’m not a fan of crate time, but I’m happy to nap in another room when you go out. When you come back though? Get ready for ALL the wiggles! I love attention and soaking up every bit of love you’ll give me. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy being near them, watching them play in the yard. I’m more of an observer than a player myself, but I love their company! I don’t know about cats or kids yet, but since I’m such a gentle soul, older kids would probably be just fine. I LOVE car rides and watching the world go by from the window. I enjoy exploring the neighborhood and continue to improve my leash-walking skills especially when treats are involved! My foster mom is also helping me brush up on my house manners so I can be my absolute best doggie self for you! Think we might be a match made in heaven? Apply today at www.floridacockerrescue.org! Adoption Fee: $285
