Santa's Fell (from the movie the Flight Before Christmas)male2-4 years13 lbsBelieved to be a poodle and a jack russell terrier mixSanta's Fell is a bit shy and barky in his kennel but once you get him out he's very social. Loves treats and pets. He is currently grabbing treats a bit rough so probably no small children right now. He did well with other small dogs and did pretty good meeting a large poodle as well.Santa's Fell is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, tested negative for heartworm, will be tested for Lyme, will be microchipped and neutered before adoption. Tobias's adoption fee is $250. You can apply on our website www.highlandhumanesociety.org OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.

🐾 Meet Tobias! 🐾Male | 2–3 Years | 13 lbs | Believed Corgi MixAdoption Fee: $250Tobias is a sweet, shy little guy who just needs a patient, understanding home to help him blossom. The first thing you’ll notice about him is… he is loud. 😂 He’s all bark and no bite — a goofy, vocal wild child who uses his voice to tell the world how he feels. Underneath all that noise, though, he’s incredibly sweet.Tobias is a bit unsure when meeting new people and may bark or growl at first, but he is very food-motivated and can be won over quickly with treats and kindness. Once he trusts you, his gentle, affectionate side shines. Outside his kennel he is a super sweet boy who just wants to be near his people.He enjoys the company of other dogs and does especially well with confident dogs around his size — he’s used to sharing his space with other pups. He did great meeting small dogs and was a little nervous around a large poodle, but still showed interest in making friends. One adorable thing he does? He loves following Wilma around like her tiny shadow. 💛Tobias may not be a couch potato all the time — he’s more of a spirited little adventurer — but he does love napping on couches and riding in cars. He would do best in a patient home willing to give him the time he needs to settle in and learn that the world is safe.
