Story
We are looking for a new home for our loving Luna girl! She is seven-years-old and we acquired her from her original owners when she was 2. Her original owners gave her first to another family who unfortunately abused and neglected her, and although she used to be very fearful of men she has mainly grown out of that and loves my husband and I and our families. She is shy getting to know new people but if you approach her gently and give her pets she will love you forever. Luna is very active and loves hiking and going for walks, and even runs if you would like. She also loves pets and cuddles and will most likely follow you around the house just to be near you. We are looking for owners who have a lot of love for dogs and can handle a lot of fur that comes along with having a Husky! We prefer someone with a nice yard that she can roam around in and has time to take her out on walks and adventures! She is loyal and has a silly personality and will do well with a family.

Hi, my name is Odin! Please don't be scared off by my intense, ice-blue eyes. I have the energy and playfulness of a husky, but also the heart that knows no limits to loyalty and love. I have the cutest pink nose, unique markings, and bushy tail! Not too much is known about my past. I was brought in as a stray after I jumped into someone's yard to play with their dogs. That being said, I do get along with other dogs, but would prefer to meet them before you take me home. I'm also potty trained, I know how to sit, and am up for the challenge of learning new tricks and commands! I'm super affectionate, and can't wait to find my nap partner! Come by High Country to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
