Meet Paul, a stunning one-year-old Alaskan Husky who is ready to find his forever home! Paul is a "beefy," handsome guy with a unique sable coat featuring a beautiful blend of brown, black, and white markings. Weighing in at nearly 70 pounds, he is a substantial and polite gentleman who carries himself with plenty of charm. Paul is remarkably social and does well with other dogs, even participating in shelter playgroups with success. He is highly food-motivated, which makes him a joy to train, and he is described as a "very nice guy" who truly enjoys being doted on and admired. As a young husky, Paul has plenty of energy and absolutely loves to run, making him an ideal partner for an active owner. When he isn't patrolling the yard or taking in new scents on a walk, he is perfectly content to relax by your side. Paul is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his current vaccines and preventions. You can meet Paul at the Butte Humane Society located at 13391 Garner Lane, Chico, CA 95973. The shelter is open daily for walk-ins from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or you can call (530) 343-7917 to schedule an appointment to meet this wonderful boy.

Glacier is a breathtaking white husky with striking heterochromia. One look into his eyes and you’ll know he’s something special. While he may be super shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, once he trusts you, his quiet, loving nature truly shines. Glacier enjoys the company of other dogs and does well in playgroups at the shelter. He’s not a fan of cats or kids, so he’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can feel safe and understood. One of Glacier’s favorite things? Day trips with his favorite volunteer!
