Della is a 5-year-old Pit Bull/Husky mix with a brain full of brilliance and a heart full of love. She’s been with us for 467 days—that’s 467 days of being a volunteer favorite, 467 days of walking her usual routes, and 467 days of dreaming about the great big world with a human of her own by her side. Della is incredibly smart, deeply affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. Whether it’s a hike through the woods or a car ride to anywhere, she’s all in—as long as it’s with you. But finding the right home for Della has been hard. She needs someone experienced, someone who understands that dogs like her—full of curiosity, loyalty, and energy—need structure and time to settle in. She’ll need a home without other pets or children, but if you give her your heart, she’ll give you hers a thousand times over. She’s currently part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, which includes three free training sessions with KindK9s after adoption to help ensure she’s set up for success in her new home. If you’re the kind of person who sees a dog like Della and knows her potential—please come meet her. 467 days is too long.

Say hello to our Rainbow, a stunning 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix with a heart as big and beautiful as her name. This sweet girl has already done her job as a mama, coming to us with 8 nursing puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be cared for, cherished, and loved. Through it all, Rainbow has remained incredibly gentle and affectionate. She leans into pets, soaks up attention, and looks at you with those soulful eyes that have won us all over. True to her Husky/Shepherd roots, she’s intelligent, loyal, and bonds deeply with her people. But more than anything, Rainbow is simply the sweetest thing. She would thrive in a home where she can build a strong connection with her person, someone who will give her stability, kindness, and all the love she deserves. Millie is a 2-year-old Retriever mix with brains, beauty, and boundless energy - but what she needs most is someone who sees her potential and is ready to help her shine. This girl is smart, active, and eager to learn, but she needs the right match: an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who can guide her through training, structure, and consistency. Millie is working on her manners and obedience as part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, and she’s already made great progress. She’ll come with three free training sessions after adoption to help continue her journey at home. Millie will need to be the only pet in the home and would need an adult-only household. Due to her energy level and learning needs, her adoption may require multiple meet-and-greets to help set everyone up for success. She’s not a beginner dog. She’s a diamond in the rough—full of heart, potential, and drive—just waiting for the right person to believe in her. She has been waiting over a year now, and we would love for her to find her match. If you're up for the challenge and ready for the reward, Millie is more than ready to meet you.
