Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Yes, older childrenCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesBuster is a big boy with a big, goofy, lovable personality. He’s the type of dog that everyone in your life knows the name of and has a funny story about.Buster is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. His favorite things are treats, playing, and people who pet him. He loves toys of all sorts (and is always down for a game of tug-of-war).While he’s a whole lot of fun, Buster needs an experienced, confident adopter. He has worked very hard on training and structure in his foster home. Once he learns your boundaries and settles in, he really shines. He’ll look to you for guidance on how to be his best self.He is energetic, but is happy to chill after his morning exercise routine. He’s a great work from home buddy, only getting up from his nap for an occasional scratch on the head. He likes to be involved so he will follow you around as you move about your home.Buster absolutely loves other dogs and is learning to take cues when playing. He currently lives with another dog in his foster home and would do well with a playful, tolerant doggie sibling (or would be happy as an only dog).Buster is extremely social and sometimes has trouble containing his excitement. As a result, he can be reactive to dogs on leash. He is working very hard on improving and will need an adopter dedicated to continuing his training. While he’s very friendly with people, he’s a big boy that doesn’t understand his size so he would do best in a home with older children.Buster sleeps through the night in his crate and settles in the crate during the day. However, he can be vocal when he can’t greet guests. Because of this, he would do well in a home without nearby neighbors or neighbors who will appreciate him as he sings the song of his people.Buster will be a fantastic, loyal companion. If you’re looking for a dog where you can see your hard work pay off and quite a few laughs, Buster is your guy! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application.May 1, 2024, 3:27 pm

MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED APRIL 16 to 21!!!To learn more visit:http://www.mspca.org/feewaived PrincesaSpayed Female1 year 6 months45lbs Meet Princesa! This regal mix breed has lots of love (and energy!) to give, and she cant wait to find her new home where she will be treated like true royalty! We have limited information on her life before she came to us, but what we have seen here is that she is a little unsure about the sights and sounds of the big city, and will need a patient adopter who can help her settle in at her own pace. Once she has had time to make herself at home, she will not be able to wait to show you her playful side! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
