Meet Penelope! Penelope is approximately 10 months old, ~40 lbs currently and she is a Mutt. She was found as a stray at a boat ramp that is a known dumping ground. She is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and hasn`t had any leash walking experience yet. She could go to a home with kids 5+, and other young dogs.No apartments, please! She is initially shy and would benefit from a home with a fenced yard and another young dog.Her foster says, `She loves loves LOVES toys. She has a toy in her mouth 95% of the time. She loves frozen or fresh blueberries, carrots, and Greek yogurt. She is very cuddly and loving. She will sit for treats.`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Hi! I’m Teka, and I’m SO excited to tell you about myself! If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d say: goofy, rambunctious, and full of life! Okay, that last one wasn’t really one word—but hey, I’m a dog, not an English major! All I’m trying to say is that I LOVE running around and being as wiggly as possible. Zoomies are one of my favorite activities! After I burn off some energy, I’m happy to settle in for a cuddle and soak up all the love. I’m a big fan of toys—maybe a little too big of a fan. I like to destroy them and sometimes try to eat the pieces, so durable toys and hard bones are the way to go for me. I’m great at entertaining myself once I’ve got something sturdy to chew on! People are another one of my favorite things. I love attention, pets, and snuggling with my human friends. I enjoy being the center of affection, but I can also share my space with energetic, dog-savvy dogs who match my playful style and understand my enthusiasm.
