Story
Dolce is a beautiful 6 year old breeder release American Eskimo/Pomski who is looking forward to finding her forever home! She has come a long way since she got into rescue. Initially a bit timid in meeting new people, but she's beginning to warm up more quickly and becoming comfortable expressing her darling personality to everyone she meets. She loves to run in the yard and wag her tail when she sees her favorite dog treats appear. Dolce has gotten along well with other dogs in her foster home and has been a rockstar with potty training. She's hesitant to walk on a leash, but we are diligently working on it. Dolce is an absolute sweetheart and can't wait to meet you! For her safety (since she isn't a fan of walking on a leash yet) we would suggest having a securely fenced yard. Having another social dog in the home will help her become more social with people and trust them. Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee is $300 plus tax.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Forest is a wonderful work in progress. He is a mixed breed guy who has been with us since Dec., 2021. We didn't put him up for adoption right away as he was very shy and shutdown. Some of our wonderful volunteers have been working with him, taking baby steps, and we think he's ready to transition into a forever home. However it will have to be a very special, secure, and patient home. Forest has been fully vetted and his fee of $125 is sponsored. Forest originally came to rescue from a Reservation in South Dakota. He was on the run for quite a while before he was live trapped. He is likely now over 5 years old. He is still extremely shy but responds well to treats and kind words. He's learning to go for walks and enjoys it. We think he would be okay with a well mannered, somewhat confident dog. Due to his shy nature, he's looking for an experienced ADULT only home (teens are fine). We have no way of knowing about cats. SECURELY FENCED YARD REQUIRED. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications can be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 6, 2024, 1:55 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jasmine is a pit bull/husky mix who was first surrendered to us in November 2020. She was adopted for almost 3 years and blossomed in her home, but was returned in November 2023 due to her adopter's declining health. Jasmine is now 5 to 6 years old, but is still perky and playful. She's also athletic and loves to romp, although her "zoomies" are not the most graceful thing to witness. Jasmine has been fully vetted and her fee is $150. Jasmine is a fairly large and strong girl with a big, block head (sorry sweetie, but it's true). She can be a bit of a talker, which is common with huskies and their mixes. She has received some basic training and learns quickly. Exercise is key to her happiness and she likes to swim and has even gone boating. Jasmine has done pretty well with male dogs and kids. Cats are most likely a no.
