I’m a very smart dog who is doing incredibly well with my crate and learning where and where not to go potty. I’m a HUGE fan of playing. I’ve got a foster sister and girl-oh-girl do we have fun!!! Running! Jumping! Chasing! ZOOMIES! I also love walks. I’m told I do very well on my leash, even if I do get excited from time-to-time. Before I came to rescue I spent a whole year in a small shelter waiting, but I never gave up hope! Now I'm one step closer and learning what it's like to live in a home with dogs and people who love me! I'm a super sweet and beautiful senior husky with a whole lot to offer! For starters, I'm snuggly and I love to be petted! I will ask for more petties if you stop too soon. I love sleeping in my crate with the door open. I'm trustworthy in the house and have never tried to get into anything. I like to be outside too.   I get along great with the three dogs here in my foster home. I don't have much of a prey drive and I ignored the kitties when I was at the shelter, so I may be ok living with a dog savvy cat. I'm a lower energy girl. I have moments of playfulness, but I'm a little unsure of exactly HOW to play. You might see more of my carefree fun side once I relax and get more comfortable. I'm also a very chunky monkey and need to lose about 15 pounds. I'm currently on the green bean diet and I'd love to find someone who will take me for walkies and help me meet my fitness goals! I will need a little time to decompress and get comfortable in my new home.   I can't wait to get settled in with people who love and care for me. Could that be you? Hi, I'm Toast and now my food bowl has spilled all over the floor. Don't worry, I'll get the hang of this toasting thing. I think.... I'm about a year old and have a lot to learn, but boy do I know how to have a good time. I don't even try and I am always successful at getting my foster family to laugh!! What can I say, it's who I am! I really love meeting new people, especially kids!!!! The little ones are so fun! Yeah, they laugh the most. Even if I do whack them with my uncontrollable tail....whoops. I love toys, I love walks, I love when my foster kids play chase .... I love to bark, I run into glass doors, and I have a history of tripping when I sneeze. Like I said....I love to make people laugh. I'm large, not quite in charge, and willing to please!!! Teach me all the tricks.....I work for treats!!! I try my best to be a gentle boy, but I haven't quite figured out how to use this enormous body of mine yet. I just want to have a good time. Take me on hikes, runs, camping ...anywhere with YOU. I just want a family of my own!
