To adopt or for more information, please visit http://TaysiaBlue.com Hi I'm Chief and I'm excited to meet you! I'm a beautiful fluffy husky with the most mesmerizing eyes - one is auburn and one is parti-colored blue and auburn! Did you know parti-eyes are the most rare? I recently fell upon hard times when my owner passed away and I'm anxious to have my own family again. In the meantime, I've been living with other huskies and I do well with them and love to play. I also love food! Like a typical husky, I'm bouncy and have lots of energy! Do I sound like best friend material? To adopt or for more information, please visit http://TaysiaBlue.com Hi! I'm Lara Croft. They say I'm as intelligent, athletic, and adventurous as my namesake. I'm the type to seize the day, seek out new experiences, and look for the occasional hidden treasure. Some say I should switch to decaf, but why? I get 3 times as much fun this way. I'm playful, looking for a wrassling partner to keep me on my toes. Do you want to raid some tombs with me? Then apply to bring Lara Croft home so we can start our adventures together!    To adopt or for more information, please visit http://TaysiaBlue.com April 30, 2024, 6:40 pm

To adopt or for more information, please visit http://TaysiaBlue.com Are you looking for an exotic pet, rather than an ordinary husky? LOOK at me! I might be mixed with sugar glider or flying squirrel! I'm soooo cute and truly one of a kind! I'm a happy go lucky medium to high energy pup. I want to play all the time, especially with other dogs! I get along great with the other husky in my foster home. I don't guard my food, toys or snacks, but I can occasionally be a little bossy. I'm learning better manners! I know how to use a doggie door and I am potty trained. I've been trusted unsupervised in the house with no problems. I'm smart, trainable, and I walk nicely on a leash. I like to chase and bark at kitties, so I do need a home without any of those! My foster pawrent says I'm just great and describes me as an easy dream dog! Maybe I'm your fantasy pup? Zeus is in foster care and is not in the MHS building. If interested in adopting contact us at info@midlandshumanesociety.org or fill out the application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CBIA/Dog. Zeus is one active and fun-loving dog that will bring entertainment and silliness to any home. He loves to run to play frisbee and just all together play. He is very good with other dogs but is not recommended for a home with cats or small pets. He has been learning basic manners while in foster care and will do best with an adopter that will continue to make training a priority.

Story
Molly is a young Husky/American Pit Terrier/German Shepard mix, born November 2022.  Molly is very affectionate - she loves to cuddle and give kisses.  She is energetic and needs a home with a large yard and a 6 foot fence.  She knows some commands i.e. sit, down, focus (touch the bridge of your nose and she will focus on you) and went to training classes as a puppy.  Molly likes to be around her people and prefers to have another dog or cat around, although she likes to keep her toys for herself.  She also is not a fan of being kenneled.  An open door is an invitation for her to run out, so keep an eye on her when opening the front door.  The perfect home would have a dog of her size or bigger, adults that are steady on their feet because she can tends to jump and can be clumsy, and no young kids.  Molly will need someone who is experienced with handling an energetic dog and someone who will give her a refresher with potty training. The suggested adoption donation for Molly is $400.  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life.  All donations go toward that mission.  Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2021 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $307,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. ##1986177##

Story
To adopt or for more information, please visit http://TaysiaBlue.com Hi, I am Aries, aka Big Lug! Would you like to play a game of tug? Or maybe you would just like to let me sit on your lap while you give me scratches? Whatever we do, I’ll be happy to be with you and, if you have them, the kids! I just love kids, their little hands are the best for scratches. I’m fine letting them touch my ears and paws. While I may be big and strong, I know how to be gentle with them. I’m pretty chill in my kennel as long as I have enough space to stretch out a bit. And I like eating there but I prefer to do it undisturbed. I am a well mannered gentleman overall. Sometimes I will jump on adults, but I’m working on it. I just want you to know how happy I am to see you. I know how to sit and shake and I’m also house trained and know to do by business outside. While I will happily share what you are eating, I don’t counter surf much or beg for a bite. What I don’t really like are other male dogs with dominant personalities and cats. I like to play and run around with my dog friends - and despite my size, I can move! - but I would be ok being your one and only too.To adopt or for more information, please visit http://TaysiaBlue.com April 30, 2024, 6:40 pm
