Story
My grandma rescued her, and she now lives with us due to some life events. We have a toddler, are currently expecting and cannot attend to her the way she needs. She is roughly 7-8 months old, husky and some other breed they’re unsure. Sweet girl, lots of energy and is a good listener. She does well in a kennel. Does jump on you out of excitement, and occasionally pees in the house.

Story
We rescued Motto about a year and a half ago when he was 4 months old and had spent his life until then in a cage. He was difficult at first, couldn’t be by himself, hated his crate, took months to house train, but after about 6 months of home training and a 10 day boot camp program he turned the corner. Motto is 1 year and 11 months old. He loves playing with people, bully sticks, car rides, and the outdoors in general. His is an Alaskan Klee Kai (basically a mini husky), has a lot of energy, and loves to play the typical husky games. He is not as loud or vocal as a husky, he is actually very quiet. But his recall isn’t the best, if he is busy and you call him he will just look at you like you're a fool and continue with his little projects. Hes a very fun dog and it’s extremely hard for us to have to rehome him but due to my out of town job schedule and my wifes health issues, we can no longer provide the attention and care he needs. We will be picky about where he ends up.

Story
Meet Aspen  Aspen and Timber are likely a bonded pair of 1-year-old siblings who have only ever known life together, and they are searching for a forever home where they can stay side by side. Our dream home would have acreage and a soft landing. They were heartbreakingly dumped at a high-kill shelter by a breeder when no homes could be found. Despite their rough start, both dogs have proven to be gentle and resilient. Aspen is naturally shy and takes a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, he enjoys attention and companionship. Timber is his steady brother, and together they give each other confidence. Both Aspen and Timber are crate trained, great with other dogs, and still very young with so much potential. They are looking for a calm, patient home that will invest in their future and give them the love and security they have been missing. They are located in Reno, NV Age: 1 year Likely Bonded pair – with Timber -Timmy Crate trained Great with other dogs Gentle and affectionate once comfortable If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Aspen and maybe Timber, please apply at grandmasbarnrescue.com.October 7, 2025, 6:30 pm
