Story
Hello, I can no longer keep my dog Nix. The best new owner for Nix would be someone who is an outdoor enthusiast who wants a loyal new best friend and has a lot of time for him. Nix is family friendly but only forms a real connection with a single human. Nix is familiar with most hiking trails around Reno and does well off leash. He just walks the trail in front of you and periodically looks back to check on you. He is also an avid camper and snow sport enthusiast. Taking him snowshoeing or splitboarding is a real treat for him. Take him camping and he will be happy for a week after. He gets morning and evening kibles with a treat when I leave the house. He is a truck bed dog. Also Loves vans. He thrives on attention and exercise He currently lives with 4 humans and 3 cats. He loves to go to San Rafael and play with other dogs. He is friendly with all dogs at the park but he has tried to establish dominance with dogs that visit him at his house.

Story
Skye Husky - 1-2years old - Female Skye is the mother to Daisy, Tommy, Stevie, Gillian and Ellyn. When she was first picked up as a stray dog in Lassen County the animal control officers didn't even realize she was pregnant! A few days later there were puppies in her kennel, what a surprise! Now that she's had time to raise her little ones (she has been a FANTASTIC mom!) it's time for her to focus on herself. She's so young and it's clear that she is just a pup herself. She's playful and mischievous, as any good husky should be! Her future family should be active and be ready to give lots of belly rubs. Skye has a pretty high prey drive and would not be a good candidate for a home with cats or other small critters such as chickens or rabbits. She has done well with all dogs we have introduced her to so far and has a very pleasant temperament with other dogs. She can be wary of new people at first, especially men, but treats absolutely help! Typically she warms up within a few minutes and then she will literally be in your lap! We believe Skye is between 1-2 years old. She is fully vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. She will need to wait 2 weeks post-weaning her puppies to be spayed, so if that doesn't happen before she goes home a voucher will be provided to cover the cost of that at our vet!

Story
So we have a confession to make... Tesla is an addict. She is a Belly Rub Addict. She will run at you full speed, flop onto her side, and slide under your hand to get the coveted pets... we have tried Belly Rubs Anonymous to no avail. We now know that it is best to just give into her addiction and pet away!Tesla could not have been named better if we had tried! This energizer bunny likes to go go, GO! Tesla loves to GO - anywhere, anytime. She plays. Toys, attention and pets are her love language. She can be overwhelming - especially to new, unprepared dog parents. She will be destructive and vocal if bored or overstimulated. But she loves to talk, has loads of energy, and absolutely loves other doggies (although she can be overwhelming to smaller dogs). Once she has settled down, she loves cuddles and belly rubs, too. Just look at those eyes, begging you to take her home! Tesla will play fetch for DAYS. She loves to be with her people. She does well with tolerant male dogs when off lead. When on a leash, she gets frustrated and more vocal. Tesla would LOVE a runner, long distance hiker, someone who can't sit still and doesn't want to. Once her energy is expended, she wants nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with her favorite people. We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. Story
Adorable fur seeking forever love. Hello, I am Arames and I am single, a fan of hanging out, long walks and being with my favorite people all day. I love kids and meeting new dog friends. If you would like a buddy to join you on hikes, coffee runs or watching the game...pick me! I find myself here through no fault of my own, surrendered from the only home I have ever known. Please give me a few days to decompress when we go home and then another three weeks to feel like this is my new forever home. In a few months we will be good, in fact we will be great. I just need time to feel your love and know I am in a safe place!

Story
Good day. My name is Giselle and I am searching for a family of my very own. I am a sweet girl who loves people. I can be a bit possessive of my things...but as a stray I really had to fight to get food and a place to sleep and that may be why. I probably will get over this when I know that my bed, people and yummy snacks aren't going anywhere. If you want someone to be by your side on hikes and walks and well...anytime, pick me!
