Story
Found Shadow wandering in the street. Found his owner which asked that I keep him or call animal control to have him picked up. I lease and can’t keep him very much longer. Shadow is very sweet and loving. He is gentle and obedient. He is potty trained and crate trained. He does well with bathing, brushing, walking and car rides. He gets along with other dogs when introduced appropriately and allowed time to adjust. Practice with adequate socialization will help improve this over time. Apparently he is an escapist. His owner stated that he travels a lot and Shadow was left outside for days at a time. He has not tried to get away in the time I have cared for him. He has separation anxiety with destructive behavior when left alone. This can also be improved over time with adequate attention, training and patience. He is a very sweet boy and just needs an understanding human who can give him time, attention, and the love he deserves. Shadow is a good boy looking for his furever home.
