Story
His previous owner had cancer and Canelo found a home with us 9 years ago. It took a lot of patience, dedication and work to train him. He only knew life in a backyard. Canelo has experienced the dog park many times. Walks around the neighborhood with harness. Though he pulls hard, the walk becomes easier. When on a leash and other dogs approach , Canelo can be overprotective. He knows commands sit, handshake, down and kiss. Canelo is only mouthy when he really wants attention or misses one of his paw friends. He does get very excited when I am getting close to arriving at the dog park. To bring his excitement down, we take a few rounds outside the gated area. Bringing him in without decreasing his anxiety will being problems inside the dog park. He sheds once, twice a year. He gets excited when food is about to be served but waits patiently. Canelo is very sweet, does his business outside and loves to hear the word good boy.

Story
Macy became part of our family 9 years ago when her previous owner had cancer. She is very vocal. Very mouthy. She will howl a lot when I get home, wanting to see me, feed or walk her. She does her business well outside. Macy is a natural escaper. Fence needs to be big if she will be an outdoor dog 100%. Does well on walks with harness/leash. She behaves in dog parks. Loves to explore. Once the bond is complete, she can follow your commands off leash. She won't stray away. It took me a year or so to fully trust each other and train her. She knows commands sit, handshake, talk, down and kiss. She will take baths but sometimes you have to carry her and being her to the area of the bathing process. Macy will allow her nails to be clipped. She is very sweet, asks for attention and with patience and love, she will not want to lose you.
