Meet PJ!PJ is a 1.5-year-old female retriever mix with the most adorable reddish-gold coat. She’s on the smaller side at 45 pounds and has a gentle, sweet nature. PJ is a little unsure on the leash, so she shines best when receiving calm, focused attention in one of our visitation rooms.This sweet girl loves gentle pets and affection and would do wonderfully in a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and adored.This pet is available for adoption on 11/29/25 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Did you know YHS offers a `Play Date` program?Whether you are interested in adopting or just want to hang out with a furry friend, it`s a fun way to spend an hour, an afternoon or even a couple days.
