Meet Chimkin, a six year old Husky mix weighing 55 pounds.Chimkin has been through more than any dog should have to endure, but he is still holding onto his gentle, friendly spirit. When he arrived, he had a severe infected wound on his face that required sedation, cleaning, and stitches. Thankfully, he is now healing well and receiving the care he deserves.X-rays showed that his hips and knees look good, but he does have several areas of spondylosis, most notably around his lumbosacral and cranial lumbar spine. Because of this, Chimkin may need ongoing, potentially lifelong medication and veterinary care to help manage his back.His experiences have clearly taught him to be cautious. Chimkin seems like a dog who has had to fend for himself for quite some time. He is friendly, but he keeps his heart close rather than giving it away to everyone he meets. We got Alfie as a puppy. He is now 4 years old (November 27th birthday) He has always been a smart, loyal pup but he has struggled with food aggression around other dogs and kids + reactive. We currently have a 6 month old baby who is learning to walk/crawl and we do not want to risk it with Alfie ): this was a very hard decision as he is part of our family. But I don’t want him to spent time in the kennel/away from fun just as a safety precaution. He truly is an amazing dog and deserved a fun adventurous life. We believe he would thrive as an only dog or have a slow introduction/kept away while eating as he does LOVE to play. I would highly recommend no children as he’s large and can be unpredictable + he’s not use to children. He loves walks (he is not reactive on walks to other dogs/people he sees), playing, car rides, sleeping in a cozy bed and so much more!!! He truly is an amazing dog and we want nothing but him to go to a wonderful home

Tony was left on the side of the road, so there is no history on him. He has been a good boy the whole time we've had him. He loves to sit on your feet and just get pets. He loves splashing in his kiddie pool and he enjoys running around the yard. He gets along well with other dogs. He does not do well in a crate ( he broke the first and only one we ever gave him), he does still have house accidents and he occasionally chews pillows. So it is best that while you work on his anxiety that you have a space he can go in that isn't a kennel. He is a husky, so he loves to talk and tattle on his siblings. He doesn't share stuffed animals or food well 9 we are working on it)
