Max is one very cute boy! He has come such a long way from when he first arrived at MHS! We don’t know exactly what happened to Max. When he arrived he was very “skinny” and he had puncture wounds on his body and his tail was injured. But, we could already tell what a sweet and gentle soul he was. Since he has been with us he has put on some much needed weight. His puncture wounds are mostly healed now! He required surgery on his tail and it is healing nicely too! Max feels that he is ready to try to find his “forever” home! He has all of his vaccinations, he is heartworm negative, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Sweet Max is great with other dogs and people. He would like to have a home filled with family and lots of love!

Hidy do! My name is Patton! I am an “almost” one-year-old retriever mix. I was picked up by one of the kind Humane Deputies of Animal Control. I had been roaming around a neighborhood looking for food, shelter, and kindness. Someone called the shelter for a “pick up!” I rode to the shelter and when I arrived I was given a big clean dog run, a big bowl of food, and a nice comfy bed. Ahhhhhh…..I went straight to sleep and had some sweet dreams! Well, I was never claimed and I am now ready to meet some new folks! I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am such a handsome boy and sweet too! I hope I will be adopted soon!

Kisses here! I am a beautiful tan and white girl that was recently picked up by Animal Control as I roamed in a neighborhood. I came back to the shelter where I was given a big dog run, a large bowl of food, and a nice comfy bed. Ahhhhh…..now that I have rested up I am ready got meet lots of new folks! I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. One slight problem did show up on my health check up. It seems that I am heartworm positive. No Problem! My treatment is already set up! I hope that someone will want to adopt me soon! I am an eighteen-month-old retriever mix and I want to spend the rest of my life with you!!

Well I get it. I am a pretty active fellow and I guess I need lots of exercise to burn off any excess energy that might get me in trouble! IF you think I might be a good fit for you and your "fam" you should know that I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am an two-year-old retriever mix. I know I would do best in an active home with lots of fun activities and jogs, walks, and runs every day! FYI..I love to run and play with toys!

Wish sure “wishes” she could find her forever home! She first came to the shelter as a stray. She was never claimed so the shelter got her ready for adoption. After being adopted a time or two she is now back at the shelter hoping the right family will finally connect with her! She has all of her vaccinations, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. Wish is what they call a teenage puppy! That means she is very active and requires time and training in good doggie manners. She is a smart and loving girl that just needs to make a “connection” with the right family. Could that be your family?
