Story
Marley, Max and Milo came in with their mama Maggie, a beautiful, petite black lab. While dad is unknown, we believe he may have been a golden retriever mix. They are incredibly well socialized, gentle, loving puppies who will most likely grow up to be medium-to-larger breed adults. If you're interested in adopting, please email Kelly@FelinesCanines.org to confirm availability and for an adoption application.
We'll also keep you updated on Marley's adoption status with email updates.

Story
UPDATE!! This pretty girl is Buffy. She and her siblings were found dumped in the woods with their mother. Poor things didn’t even have their eyes open. They are opening now and we are guessing they are right at 2 weeks old. They are BIG pups and will definitely be large sized adults Mom looks like a Yellow Lab/Golden Mix— maybe with some Anatolian Shepherd in there. She’s right at 75 lbs. Dad is unknown. The babies will be adoption ready at 9 weeks after 2 rounds of vaccines and they are altered. We are taking apps now and will be reserving them to the perfect forever homes. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $145 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
NEWBIE ALERT! Meet Twinkie. She’s an adorable doodle that was saved from a local overcrowded shelter. She’s 2 years and 47 lbs. Very sweet girl and good with other animals. She is doing well in her foster home and in a crate. She’s settling in and we will update pics and info as we get them. 23 are hoping to have her groomed this week. She’s utd, will be spayed 2/26/26 and then adoption ready.   Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!
