Lark was running loose in a neighborhood along with a few other dogs. Neighbors called Animal Control for some help. The officers arrived and were able to catch several of the dogs and one of them was Lark! Lark was never claimed by his owner and is now ready for adoption. Lark has all of his vaccinations, he is heartworm negative, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Lark is a “teenage” puppy so be ready for lots of fun activities and play time!! This retriever mix needs lots of exercise and plenty of love!!

Meet Dax! At just 4 months old and 30 pounds, Dax is a Retriever mix with a whole lot of puppy love to give! Dax came to us as a stray after a kind citizen found him and cared for him for about a week. Our deputy made contact with the finder, and Dax was scanned for a microchip, but unfortunately, no chip was found and no owner ever came forward. He was safely transported to the shelter, where he's now patiently waiting for the next chapter of his life to begin. Dax is an energetic, loving pup who isn't letting his unexpected start slow him down. He's looking on the bright side and hoping his forever family is right around the corner! Pogo here! I can’t tell you how relieved I am to be sitting in the safety of the shelter! Whew! I really didn’t care to be out in the cold and rain with no food or shelter! Bummer!! Anyway I was never claimed by my owners and I am now available for adoption. I am a one-year-old retriever mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. When I was given my behavior tests I passed with flying colors with other dogs! I am a nice small to medium size boy that would be happy to fit into your home and become an important part of your family!

If you're looking for a dog who will make you feel VERY loved, Snow may just be your girl! This beautiful 2-year-old girl weighs around 40 pounds and has the most gorgeous blue eyes. And can we talk about her eyeliner?! It makes those beautiful eyes POP! Snow came to us as a stray after a kind citizen found her on a busy street and simply couldn't leave her behind. He brought her safely to the shelter, hoping her family would come looking for her, but sadly, no one ever came to claim this sweet girl. Snow is incredibly affectionate and loves giving her people plenty of love. She can be a little unsure around other dogs, and we're not sure if she simply hasn't had much experience with them. She takes some time to warm up, so we think Snow would be happiest as an only dog or with a very calm, laid-back canine companion who won't overwhelm her. Snow is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She's ready to find the person who will give her the love and security she's been waiting for.
