Hello! My name is Archie and here is a little info about me: Breed: Golden Retriever Shepherd MixAge: 2 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 60 lbsHeight: 65 cm (ground to shoulder)Country of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): Super friendly, cuddly, and playful; very smart and quick learner A little about me:Hi there! I’m Archie — a fluffy, friendly guy who loves to cuddle and play. I have my brother Buster by my side, he's my best friend in the world! My brother Buster and I were just tiny puppies when we were rescued from a breeder in the Middle East. Back then, life was tough — cramped spaces, little love, and lots of uncertainty. But everything changed when someone kind came to save us. It felt like waking up from a scary dream into a world filled with warmth, soft beds, and endless belly rubs! Since then, Buster and I have been inseparable — growing up together, cuddling, exploring, and learning about all the wonderful things life has to offer. We’re looking for a forever family who understands that adopting us means double the love, double the fun, and two best friends who will always stick together. We’re bundles of joy wrapped in fluffy coats! Super friendly doesn’t even begin to describe us — we’re like two big teddy bears who love to cuddle up close and soak up all the belly rubs. Playtime is our favorite, whether it’s chasing a ball, learning new tricks, or just goofing around with each other. We’re pretty smart too — Buster and I pick up commands quickly and can’t wait to learn more from our new family. We love meeting other dogs and making new pals, though we haven’t met kids or cats just yet — but we’re curious and excited to see who else we can befriend! We’re the perfect mix of playful energy and calm snuggles, always ready to brighten your day with wagging tails and happy hearts. The perfect home for us would have a big yard to run around in, lots of daily walks, and a patient owner who can help us keep learning and growing. We love being active, but we also enjoy quiet, cuddle time.  More About Me:Moderate to high—ready for fun and adventure, but also happy to relax by your side. I Get Along With: Dogs: Yes! I love doggy friends. Cats: Unknown (haven’t met any yet) Kids: Unknown (haven’t met any yet) Fears: I’m a brave little survivor, but please be patient as I settle into new environments. Training: We know some leash and house manners, but we’ll need help continuing our training and learning new things. Leash skills: Some, but we’d love more practice!House trained: A little bit, please help us improve! Health Notes:I am healthy and ready to go!I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.  While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##2417840##

Hello. My name is CHESTER and here is a little info about me:Breed: Golden Retriever/Australian Shepard mixAge: 2 yearsGender: maleWeight: 25 kgHeight: 24 inchesHighlight(s): polite, social, intelligent, quick learning, loving, gentlemanly Looking for a wonderful, polite boy who loves everyone, I'm that pup. I am quite the gentleman, if I do say so myself.Found by my rescuer in Autumn on the side of the street in the Middle East, I was a very small puppy. There were some nice children around, they tried bringing me some pieces of bone, and while I was hungry, I was unable to eat this yet. So, my rescuer brought me home with her. While very good with children and other dogs, I do however bark at cats. Go figure. Maybe with proper intro, I'd be ok? Might be best to bypass the feline type in my new home for now.One thing you should know about me is my special diet. They don't feed me dry food because it is not good quality here; instead, I enjoy delicious meals of chicken with vegetables. I also love to play --weather is chasing a ball, cuddling, a doll or even with stuffed animal toys. and whenever my rescuer sees me, I can but jump into her and pure joy!   You'll find I am quite smart and learn very quickly. I love toys like stuffed animals. I do have a tendency toward digging in the yard where there are other dogs. Not sure if I would do this if I was an only. I have that exuberant puppyness yet, so I imagine as I mature and yountrain me, I will chill more.I am able to jump, so should have a home with a fence. If I get plenty of exercise otherwise, in a safe enclosed area or maybe as a running/hiking partner, I could manage without a yard. No off leash work until I am bonded with good recall, as I'm still a puppy and can get excited and run. I'm a bit hesitant at first going in the car, but tend to be calm. I'm sure I will enjoy rides, once I understand more about them. I don't get much chance to go anywhere where I live. Here I am enjoying some playtime with my doggy friends.  http://https://youtube.com/shorts/lOWuECvIPXM?si=5Mi3q7uTtwYsTYwAHoping you are after a kind, intelligent and beautiful dog. I'd love to be your pupper for life. Here is an additional video of me being a love bug:  https://youtube.com/shorts/nKbBY8FlD1w?si=OTtx_IJwxj9gPWeP Energy Level: moderate to moderate highI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: yesFears: none observed. I will be microchipped prior to arrival. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, to a max of $300. Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Due to this, if a rescuer finds a flight with this requirement, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the passenger. You are under no obligation to do this. If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $250. Our rescuers work extremely hard finding flights and spend tremendous amounts of money caring for and sending these dogs to safety. They simply haven't the extra money to cover this. Hi. My name is Pino and here is some info about me: Breed: Golden Retriever/LabradorAge: 2 1/2 YearGender: MaleWeight: 44 lbHighlight(s): Good with other dogs, people Hey there, I'm Pino, and let me tell you, life's been quite the adventure so far! I started my journey as a stray, just a tiny pup exploring the big wide world. But fate had other plans for me, and I found myself at the shelter, where I've been ever since. Despite my rocky start, I've managed to become one of the most beloved pups at the shelter. Full of life and brimming with energy, I love nothing more than playing with all my furry friends here. But as much as I enjoy the shelter life, I can't help but wonder what lies beyond these walls. I may be a little shy at first, especially when meeting new people, but show me a little love – maybe even a treat or two – and I'll be your best friend for life. Gentle by nature, I've never shown any aggression or resource guarding. I just want to spread joy and receive love in return. But deep down, I dream of something more. I dream of finding a loving family and a home I can call my own. Imagine sleeping in a soft bed and having toys to call my own – it's a dream I've never dared to hope for until now. And oh, the adventures we could have together! From dog parks to long walks and maybe even a dip in the water, the possibilities are endless. So if you're looking for a loyal companion who will love you more than life itself, please consider giving me a chance. I'm such a good boy, and I can't wait to meet you and embark on this new chapter of my life. Let's make dreams come true – together. Energy Level: high requires daily physical activities. Hi, I'm Clementine. Here is some info you need to know about me:    Age: 1 - 1/2 yearsGender: Female  Breed: Golden Retriever Mix  Weight: 18 kg  Height: 50 cm  Highlights: playful, curious, cuddly, loyal, engaging People say I’m a brave little pup—and I guess they’re right. I’ve been through more than most dogs my age. I was born in a city in the Middle East where life was really hard. I lost my ears and tail, and sometimes I still get scared around men or when I see long sticks or poles. But even with all that, I’m still full of love, hope, and tail wags (well… if I still had a tail, it would be wagging nonstop!).  I love being around people—especially kids—and I get along great with other dogs. I haven’t met any cats yet, but when I see them in the streets, I tend to chase them. Would be best if I go to a home without kitties.. I’m playful, curious, and I absolutely love going for walks. I’m really good on a leash!  I’m also super adaptable. I don’t mind where I sleep, as long as I know I’m safe. I can be a little nervous sometimes, but with gentle love and patience, I open up quickly. I’m really just looking for someone who sees the good in me and wants to help me feel safe and happy forever.  Right now, I’m dreaming of a home in Vancouver, where I can run, play, cuddle, and finally just be a dog—without fear. I promise to be your loyal, loving friend through it all.  Will you be my forever person?  I’m ready when you are. Hello! I'm Evie and you can find some info about me below. Breed: Golden Retriever/Shepard mixAge: 4 years Gender: FemaleWeight: 40 lbsHeight: 16 inCountry of origin: IsraelHighlights: playful, cuddly, gentle My story started in a difficult place. As a tiny puppy, I lived with my my mother and siblings at a home of an unkind lady.  Word got around to a rescue organization that she planned to euthanize us!  A kind soul stepped in to protect us when we needed it most, and brought us to safety.I’ve been at the shelter ever since and get along beautifully with other dogs, and just about everyone I meet. My personality is affectionate and friendly — I’m the kind of dog who will happily curl up with you after playtime or trot beside you on your daily walk.  I love food treats and playing with toys! Now, I’m ready for the next chapter — one where I get to be part of a loving family.  A home filled with kindness, consistency, and a few toys wouldn’t hurt either! I’d thrive with a family or person who enjoys snuggles, playtime, and helping me continue to grow into my happiest, most confident self.
