Story
Ready for her flight to Vancouver 🇨🇦 Background: Shiloh is a beautiful girl who was rescued from a city pound in Buan, Korea last summer. After her rescue, she moved to our partner boarding house, where she has been living peacefully with other dogs. At the time of rescue, Shiloh was heartworm positive. She bravely completed her treatment and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home. Personality and Socialization: Shiloh has a lovely Golden Retriever type personality. She is friendly, social, and very people oriented. She is comfortable with both men and women and enjoys being around people, getting attention, and snuggling close. She is not shy and warms up easily, making her a joy to be around. Shiloh has lived with many dogs and does best with friendly dogs who enjoy playtime. She loves running around and spending time outdoors, and she gets along well with dogs that have good manners and positive energy. Behaviour: Shiloh is easygoing and well balanced. She enjoys playtime with dogs and people, but once she has had her fun, she is happy to lie down and relax nearby. She is not a big barker. She may bark a little when excited, such as at mealtime or when visitors arrive, but these are happy, short moments. She enjoys going for walks and loves outdoor time. She may pull a bit when she is excited, but overall she walks well on leash. Shiloh handles vet visits, baths, and car rides calmly and cooperatively. Health and Diet: Shiloh has fully completed her heartworm treatment and is now healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated up to date. She has also completed dental scaling and receives monthly parasite preventatives. She eats dry food twice a day, is not a picky eater, and has shown no signs of food allergies. Ideal Home: Shiloh loves being with her people and would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. Having another friendly dog to play with would be wonderful, as she enjoys canine companionship. A calm, loving family with a relaxed lifestyle and plenty of time to spend together would be the perfect match for this gentle, affectionate girl. Shiloh is truly a special soul, ready to give her whole heart to the family who welcomes her home.

Story
(Pending) Bella is a beautiful 4-month-old purebred Golden Retriever, healthy, well cared for, with both parents DNA health-tested. She is smart, playful, and loves people. She is potty and crate trained, has good food and door manners, knows many basic commands, comfortable with car rides. She is used to regular handling, including teeth brushing twice weekly, and has been hand-carried for early socialization since her second vaccination. understands heel at home but needs more practice outdoors and reinforcement of “leave it” and “drop it,” as she tends to pick things up on walks. Due to family circumstances, we are seeking a loving home with dog or puppy experience, ideally with a yard and time to take good care of her. Pet insurance is active and transferable, and puppy supplies are included to help make the transition easier. Please message with details about your home and experience if you feel you may be a good match for Bella. (Too young to be spayed!!NOT REQUIRE!! )

Story
Luna is an approximately 1.5-year-old golden retriever mix with a heartbreaking past, but an unyielding spirit. Luna's life began on the streets as a stray. At some point, she became a mother to a litter of puppies. Tragically, while her puppies were still very young, Luna was struck by a car, leaving her hind legs paralyzed and struggling to survive. A local resident noticed Luna dragging herself through the streets to find food for herself and her puppies. Soon after, Luna was rescued along with her puppies. However, due to limited resources, Luna eventually found her way to Baibao Rescue, where we've been committed to providing her with the care and attention she deserves. Through diligent rehabilitation in the last few months, Luna has shown impressive progress. Though her gait remains unsteady, she can now bear weight on her back legs and walk independently. While incontinence remains an issue, she has also made significant progress. She currently wears a diaper but we believe that with the right owner, she can further improve. Luna is a loving and friendly dog, despite her tragic past. Her playful curiosity brings joy to every day, as she explores her surroundings with newfound happiness. She gets along well with both cats and dogs. Luna loves to eat but kind of goes crazy over food and eats too quickly, understandable given her background but it's something prospective owners will need to keep in mind. Luna would not be suitable for a household with dogs that are food-protective. However, Luna's interest in food will make training her much easier. For Luna's forever home, we seek an experienced dog owner with the time and patience to continue her rehabilitation. An individual who works from home or is retired would be an ideal match, as Luna requires constant attention and support. Caring for a disabled dog is a responsibility, but the rewards are immeasurable as you witness her progress and thrive. If you're ready to provide the love and care Luna needs, she'll reward you with unwavering loyalty and affection. Let Luna's story be a testament to the resilience of animals in the face of adversity. Adopt Luna and give her the chance to experience the love and security she's deserves.

Liya is a sweet golden retriever girl, around 4 years old. She is fully vaccinated and spayed. Liya has a moderate activity level—she is playful, loves her toys, and happily spends time entertaining herself with them. She is very attached to people and loves affection. If you stop petting her, she’ll gently remind you to keep going! Liya enjoys cuddles and is known for giving her humans big, loving hugs. Liya gets along well with other dogs. She has not been tested with cats or children, but based on her gentle and sweet personality, we believe she would do well with them. She is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys exploring the world during her walks. Around strangers, Liya may be a little timid at first, but she warms up quickly. Story
Soda is a 5-year-old dog who came to us as a young puppy and has grown into a smart, energetic, and curious companion. He loves being active, exploring new places, and spending time around people he knows well. Soda has a big personality he’s playful, alert, and very food-motivated, which makes him fun to engage with and train. Soda is not comfortable around other dogs and would do best as the only pet in the home. He can become reactive toward other dogs, so a home without other animals and with someone experienced or willing to work on training would be ideal. At home, Soda is still working on some behaviour and impulse control, especially when he is bored or overstimulated. He does best with clear structure, routines, daily exercise, and consistent boundaries. With the right environment and patient guidance, he has a lot of potential to improve and settle into a great companion Soda would be best suited for a home with an active, patient owner who understands that he needs time

I’m Archie — a fluffy, friendly guy who loves to cuddle and play.  I am a bundle of joy wrapped in fluffy coat! Super friendly doesn’t even begin to describe me. I'm like a big teddy bear who love to cuddle up close and soak up all the belly rubs. Playtime is my favorite time, whether it’s chasing a ball, learning new tricks, or just goofing around. I'm pretty smart too and I pick up commands quickly and can’t wait to learn more from my new family. I love meeting other dogs and making new pals, though I haven’t met kids or cats just yet — but I'm curious and excited to see who else I can befriend! I also have my brother Buster by my side, he's my best friend in the world! My Story - My brother Buster and I were just tiny puppies when we were rescued from a breeder in the Middle East. Back then, life was tough — cramped spaces, little love, and lots of uncertainty. But everything changed when someone kind came to save us. It felt like waking up from a scary dream into a world filled with warmth, soft beds, and endless belly rubs! Since then, Buster and I have been inseparable — growing up together, cuddling, exploring, and learning about all the wonderful things life has to offer. My Ideal Home -  I would like to have a big yard to run around in, lots of daily walks, and a patient owner who can help me keep learning and growing. I love being active, but I also enjoy quiet, cuddle time. Buster and I looking for a forever family who understands that adopting both of us means double the love, double the fun, and two best friends who will always stick together. My brother, Buster and I are the perfect mix of playful energy and calm snuggles, always ready to brighten your day with wagging tails and happy hearts. If we can find a home together that would be preferred. Meet Buster by clicking this link Buster Health Notes:I am healthy and ready to go!I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.  While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##2417840##
