Story
We have a transport where we will be personally driving our dogs home leaving on 12/13/25 to NorCal, OR, and WA. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Naveen and Jasmine to our trip for the right home/homes! Naveen and Jasmine are a stunning pair of Goldendoodle siblings who remind us every day how special it is when love runs in pairs. Their soft, hypoallergenic coats shimmer like gold in the sun, but it’s their hearts — pure, joyful, and endlessly affectionate — that truly make them shine. These two have grown up side by side, best friends since birth, and their connection is something extraordinary to witness. Here, they’ve shown us what it means to live in harmony — playing, resting, and even asking for attention together (and yes, it’s a full-time job keeping both their tails wagging at once). While we would love to see them adopted together, we know that life sometimes writes its own story. If two wonderful homes come along instead of one, we have every confidence that both will thrive — their love for life and people runs so deep that they’ll carry that warmth wherever they go. Their prior owners loved them deeply and cared for them with great devotion. When they made the difficult decision to move out of the country, they reached out to us through tears, knowing they couldn’t take them along no matter how much they wanted to. It broke their hearts to say goodbye, but they did what every selfless pet parent hopes they would do in such a situation — ensured their beloved dogs would remain safe, loved, and secure. Their choice gave Naveen and Jasmine the opportunity to continue their lives surrounded by care and affection while waiting for their next forever family. Both dogs are incredibly well-mannered and wonderfully social. They’re great with other dogs, gentle with children, and loving with both men and women. They have amazing house manners and are easy to live with — the kind of dogs that make your home feel calmer just by being in it. They know all their basic commands — sit, come, stay, down, and shake — and follow them with eagerness and pride. They’re not barkers by nature but will use their voices when something unfamiliar catches their attention, always mindful and quick to settle once reassured. Naveen, the charming brother, has a deep love for water and takes daily swims in our pool, gliding through the water like it’s his second home. Jasmine, his sweet sister, is his quiet cheerleader — she prefers the shallow end, dipping her paws and keeping a watchful eye on him as he plays. They balance each other perfectly: where Naveen is adventurous and playful, Jasmine is thoughtful and tender. Together, they create a perfect sense of peace and joy. They adore affection and will melt into your lap the moment you start petting them — sometimes both at once, each resting their heads gently against you as if reminding you that love is meant to be shared. Good thing I have two hands (one for each 😂). They’re affectionate, loyal, and happiest when close to their people — whether that means curling up by your feet, following you from room to room, or sharing quiet moments at the end of the day. Both are house trained, crate trained, and sleep soundly through the night — whether in their crate or on a bed beside yours. They love walks, are wonderful on leash, and travel perfectly on road trips, hopping right in with bright eyes and wagging tails, ready for the next adventure. They’re excellent at the groomers and take their pampering sessions like the professionals they are. And, of course, they’re huge fans of treats — which makes every bit of training as fun as it is easy. They’ve continued to grow and thrive with us — perfecting their manners, strengthening their confidence, and showing everyone who meets them what pure devotion looks like. They are dogs who love with their entire hearts, and whether they go home together or separately, they will bring nothing but happiness and warmth to the families lucky enough to call them their own. Adoption Fees are on our website at the bottom of their adoption listings at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/naveen-and-jasmine Both Naveen and Jasmine will be fully vetted, microchipped, vaccinated, and cleared by our veterinarian prior to adoption. Their exams are set for November 11, 2025, and any necessary updates will be reflected at that time. Their adoption fees cover all veterinary care, including their exams and any procedures or treatments recommended by our vet, as well as the care, training, and professional grooming they’ve received while with us. Naveen and Jasmine are everything wonderful about family — loyal, loving, joyful, and kind. Whether their journey continues side by side or along two separate but equally happy paths, one thing is certain: they will fill their forever homes with a love that’s as golden as their hearts. 💛🐾

Story
Doug came to us after his human sadly passed away. He had lived with his human since he was a young pup and was a well-loved family member. Doug is a friendly and gentle guy with everyone he meets — both human and canine! True to his breed, he loves human affection, leaning in for a good rear pet or ear scratch. Doug is doing well in his foster home and has been very respectful and adaptable with his foster doggie sister. He is a quiet and loyal companion with his foster mom, hanging on the patio while she does yard work nearby. Doug is a great sleeper and lets out a good snore and a moan for a particularly good slumber. Doug is looking for his forever human/s to provide him the loving home he knew and loved in his previous family. He will give back in spades!

Story
Note: Special Needs Dog due to Behavior/Shyness. This dog is bonded and must be adopted with Pepe. Are you looking for a gorgeous dog? What about a very shy dog? If you answered yes to both of these questions, Chee Yoo could be the perfect dog for you. Chee Yoo is a beautiful, 5 yo medium/large female dog that came to Jelly's Place from South Korea in July 2021. Why has such a wonderful dog not been adopted yet? Read further to find out. Chee Yoo is very timid and nervous around people. She LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Pepe. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. Chee Yoo can guard her food which is not surprising given where she came from. So, care needs to be taken with another dog when food, especially high value foods, are around. During her time at Jelly's Place, Chee Yoo has gone from hiding in the corner to taking daily walks on a leash. She is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. She has learned to trust her primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Chee Yoo would do best in a calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Chee Yoo is NOT a dog for first time adopters. She needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. and we prefer to keep Chee Yoo with her buddy Pepe. If you are interested in adopting Chee Yoo, we recommend that you come and spend time with her on several occasions so that she becomes comfortable with you. Chee Yoo is UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted.

Story
Meet Ginger, a 3-year-old, 50 lb retriever/hound mix with a curious mind and a heart full of love. Ginger is affectionate and playful when she’s not busy checking out her surroundings. She’s known for her “sneak-attack kisses” and loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch after a good walk. She’s smart and food-motivated, already knows sit, shake, and come, and is learning place and down. Ginger is comfortable in a crate, sleeps soundly through the night, and often chooses her crate as a comfy hangout spot. With her active energy, she thrives on walks and adventures, but also has a softer, cuddly side once she’s settled. Ginger would do best in an active home with someone who can keep her busy, continue her training, and give her plenty of enrichment. She can be excitable and pulls on leash when overstimulated, so a patient owner committed to helping her practice good manners will set her up for success. She can be (situational) reactive to cats (especially from the crate) and may have some prey drive, so a cat-free home is ideal. Low-shedding, affectionate, and eager to please, Ginger is the kind of dog who will reward your time and effort with endless love, loyalty, and adventures. If you are interested in meeting Ginger, please fill out an adoption application on our website!
